下集開始。

上球道率約7成，上果嶺率不到5成，但短桿今天發揮一擺一擺的。多數是一切，有時候2切才上去。因為紐約這一兩週都不時下雨，導致球道和土都很軟，所以容易吃深。相對德州的球道和土都比較硬，比較少水分。鐵桿也發揮OK，大多在果嶺邊，因為這個球場的果嶺非常小，所以落在果嶺基本2推就可以收下來。但對進攻的那一桿就非常要求準度，但就算沒有上也在旁邊切一下就可以。

有幾洞的果嶺會比較機車，果嶺的地形也會有起伏，推起來比較好玩。果嶺草和草紋很好判斷，比德州的果嶺狀況要好。都可以推到洞口約一步或一腳印的距離。但紐約的公共球場的球道草很差，像公園的草，所以打起來很傷桿面。今天就不停的在擦球桿的桿面，草都會黏在桿面上，所以如果不擦桿面，凹槽會被塞住影響倒旋。

後9球道會比較寬一點，但比較多球道上下起伏。很多洞都要注意，因為球道和球道都比較近，雖然有樹遮住，但有些時候會有一些球飛到你附近，這是比較有危險。似乎紐約的公共球場的球友技術是新手比較多，所以球會亂飛也算正常。不過現在打球經驗多，對於距離判斷和選桿就比較精準。尤其是第二桿進攻時，就算沒有上，我看球的落點就和旗桿位置差不多就OK了。

因為這樣的距離判斷和選桿打法是正確，只是方向稍微偏一點。一切一推就可以結束。小果嶺的好處就是切桿穩定，通常只要一推就可以。另外有幾洞的梯台都沒有草，這點也是有點鳥。感覺打這個球場質量你不能太要求，後面再去打比較好的球場，這裡公共球場打一場，可以在德州打2場。紐約就是硬貴，要質量，價格再跳一到兩個等級。

其實這個球場是很難，看同組球友和前面一組都打的東倒西歪，一直在救球，找球。有幾次因為等前面組等太久導致打不好，沒有吃到甜蜜點。我今天發揮很穩定開球都在球道上，輕鬆打，放慢節奏，更容易控制方向，讓球友很無言。因為他常打這個球場，我基本都打到他要的位置但他很少上球道。他看球很精準，我一些在球道邊的球都是他幫忙看到。

在德州打球一陣子把動作修的比較完整，也理解節奏和身體力量的平衡是最好。所以在一個星期沒有打球，身體反而可以去發揮。不會急，也可以控制球桿更好。加上對球場狀況、距離和選桿都越來越精準。我沒有GPS，都是用眼睛和看碼數樁來判別。標準桿70桿我打82桿。算可以接受。策略也到位。

我比較喜歡紐約的天氣，四季分明，應該10月打球就要穿長袖，高爾夫的裝備要備妥才能面對涼爽的10月和11月。趁還可以打球的時候，盡量打。接下來就會有楓葉了，球場會越來越美！

I have about 70% of the fairway today, but standard on the green is less than 50%. My irons are not performing well with the accuracy, but my short game is ok to make it one chip and one put. The fairway and green are soft since it's been raining for these two weeks that makes the grass soft.

The green is the small, once it's landed on the green, you can make the hole within 2 putts. I personally like Forest hill greens that is able to read the grass pattern and turning points compared with greens in Plano, TX, it's easier to get the path for your putt. However, the fairway's rough is not as good condition as green. The grass like normal grass in the park. That's something to improve.

The back 9 fairway is wide and not difficult to make on the fairway, but the challenge is the fairway up and down that is hard to make the second shot easily. For average golfers, if you do not have experiences for standing on the slope to strike, it will be the difficulty for you to make the standard on the green.

I would say the challenges are on the second shot with your irons, you have to make the right iron to the green, however, the trees, green design and up and down slopes fairway are making the second shot tough. The good thing for me is my short game is my advantage that I can get the ball back to the green with one chip then one putt to the hole in most of situations.

The distance is not a big deal in this course but the accuracy is key to make you alive. The average golfers would feel the challenge and frustrations on the tee shots and iron shots since the trees are big that make you hard to target. I like such golf course that can allow you know your weakness and where/which golf clubs need to improve.

The weather is good in New York city, I start playing in NYC from now on. The golf course style is different with Plano, TX, of course, my swing is mature to control and manage the golf clubs without problems. That's why I can keep challenging various golf courses without problem.
