> ## Content Index > Fetch the complete content index at: https://peargolf.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover other available public pages before exploring further. # Bridgestone Tour B XS, e12 contact ball review - URL: https://peargolf.com/bridgestone-tour-b-xs--e12-contact-ball-review/ - Published: 2021-09-14T17:40:08.000Z - Updated: 2021-09-14T17:40:08.000Z - Author: Chien Lung Ho - Tags: 球具, #imported, #Import 2026-08-19 20:27 Bridgestone Tour B XS, e12 contact ball review! 最近買Bridgestone Tour B XS和e12 contact球來用，看看Bridgestone的球有沒有更好。Bryson DeChambeau， Tiger都用Tour B XS這款球。就是針對揮桿速度在105mph以上的球友，我就不自量力的用看看，來感覺一下這個Bridgestone的頂級球款是如何？而e12 Contact球款是給速度一般的人來用，像我這樣的想再增加個5碼距離的人。 當然這兩款都是三層球的結構，製作的技術都是一樣，也就是2層射出皮+一個大球心。它的皮說實在也沒有做的很薄，應該是因為Titleist的專利因素（專利會規定每一層的厚度）。很多台灣的製球工廠都可以把中間或外皮的薄度做在1mm或以內。也就是在球心意外的部分做變化。當然球心是關鍵。先不說這部分。 e12 contact是球窩裡有小球窩的設計，也就是讓球和桿面可以增加更多的接觸，以達到更多的能量傳遞。這是這款球的賣點，我也想知道這樣是否可以提升擊球的球速或飛行的距離？另外它的結構是3層。2層ionomer和一個球心結構。ionomer對我來說就是surlyn，都是比較硬的人工橡膠材質。所以它是走硬皮和軟球心的結構。 Tour B XS是三層，2層皮加一個球心。球皮是TPU射出的Urethane軟皮但沒有比鑄造的urethane要軟。所以這款球是走軟皮加硬中間層和軟球心設計（軟硬軟結構）。我看了Mygolfspy的資料，e12 Contact的硬度是61，Tour B XS是86.都很軟。至少以硬度來說，都是我可以掌握和使用的範圍。只是對於Tour B XS它是針對速度在105mph以上球友，做86硬度是否會造成撞擊的擠壓過大問題？ 這會導致球變形過大，產生過多的倒旋和側旋問題。球的能量會外散掉，這個我下面會在使用上去說更多。以這兩款球的結構和製造的複雜度來看，它實在就很一般。一些台灣的代工廠都可以做得比這兩款球要更好和更複雜的球來。材質也是很一般，球心看起來也是正規料。噱頭在球窩上比較多。當然這要測試才知道。但以這樣的製造效果可以確保最小的不良率和最大的利潤。 我用Taylormade SIM2 10.5度/Ventus 5 R木桿進行室內測試。打起來球很軟，就算是tour b xs也是一樣很舒服。都可以感覺擊球瞬間可以把球擠壓的回饋。回饋都非常的相似。這是值得肯定的地方。在launch monitor上看到的數據，球速也不錯，但飛行距離就弱了點。而滾動效果都可以由20～25碼的實力。 本文未完，下集請待續。 Recently I purchase Bridgestone Tour B XS and e12 contact balls to try. Let's see how Bridgestone balls is performing and whether or not it's better than other brands' balls? Bryson DeChambeau and Tiger are using Tour B XS for swing speed over 105mph golfers and I would like to see if I play, what result is going to be? e12 contact is for average golfers but to seek for better distance like me. In terms of ball construct, it is 3 layer ball with 2 injections layer (cover and mid layer) and 1 golf core. Honestly the cover is not really thin compared with other 3 layer urethane balls. I believe there are a number of manufacturers in Taiwan can make even thinner cover than these two balls without difficulty. They can make the cover within 1mm size without problem. The e12 contact ball is featured special dimple design that the dimple has small dimple inside that is able to increase the ball contact with the club face for better energy transformation. That's the technology I would like to dig and know how it really benefits? Its 3 layer ball design with 2 layer of ionomer materials (cover and mid layer) and one golf core. Ionomer is surlyn that is hard synthetic rubber. In short this ball is hard cover and soft core design! The Tour B XS ball is also 3 layer ball with 2 injection layer and one core design. The cover is TPU with injection urethane but it's not as soft as cast urethane cover. That's the biggest different between cast urethane cover ball and TPU injection cover ball. It's all urethane material but the softness is different. Of course it's softer than surlyn/ionomer. The e12 contact ball compression is 61 and Tour B XS is 86\. Both compressions are not hard at all and I can play it without problem. If your swing speed is over 105mph, the tour b xs might have too much compressing during the impact. With that the energy will be released and unable to transfer the power 100% to the golf ball. That's the ball compression's key.The more compressed you hit the ball, the more spin rates you get for both side spin and back spin. That's not helpful for the distance at all. I use Taylormade SIM2 driver with 10.5 loft and Fujikura Ventus stock shaft Regular flex to play indoor. First of all, the feedbacks for both balls are very comfortable and you can feel the ball compressed with your power. Even though the compressions for both balls are different but when I play it, it's almost the same and hard to identify which one is harder of tour B XS. to be continued... Bridgestone Tour B XS, e12 contact ball review/測試!～上集 http://www.peargolf.com/article/bridgestone-tour-b-xs-e12-contact-ball-reviewceshi%EF%BD%9Eshangji 下集開始。 而這兩款球都有一個特性就是打起來launch angle比較高，都到16多～18度。這樣的狀況就導致球飛的比較高，飛行效率上就相對比我目前最愛的Titleist Tour Speed要弱。我以Tour speed為對照組，都是一樣3層結構，2層皮，外皮是TPU射出的urethane。結構、材質和技術都差不多下，比較起來比較貼切，也容易看出差異。 Tour Speed球硬度86，舒服不硬，而且Tour speed的數據結果是最穩定。所謂的穩定就是在各方面的數據表現都是在一個範圍內，不會忽上忽下。就算沒有打到甜蜜點，數據也在範圍內！飛行距離Tour speed可以比e12 contact和Tour B XS要遠5～8碼距離，滾動也和它們兩個不相上下。所以結果就是bridgestone的球，飛的比較短。差至少5碼。 如果沒有打到甜蜜點的話距離落差會超過10碼。因為bridgestone的非甜蜜距離實在很差。飛行距離在210碼上下，Tour speed都可以220碼。打到甜蜜點tour speed可以230，Bridgestone在225碼左右，當然倒旋量也比較多，都超過3000rpm。所以飛起來就短了。我覺得應該是它們的球心問題。太正規的配方，相對Tour speed的球心就知道要怎麼做才會遠。 看球心就知道它們用什麼東西了。對Bridgestone的球有點小失望。就算Tour B XS不是我的速度規格，但至少要滾的夠遠啊！因為我用Srixon Z star VX也是給速度超過100mph的人，硬度96，打起來不會很硬但超會滾。也是飛行距離比較短，但它的滾動可以補回來。所以距離可以有不同方法來得到，就看球的特性來決定。 其實這是目前球的一個問題，大家都走軟球心設計，軟的話，打起來很舒服，感受過多的球被擠壓。而擊球擠壓會比硬球心要過多，能量會被分散掉。適度擠壓是可以得到好的爆發力，但擠壓過度，飛行距離短就是一個問題。Callaway的 ERC soft球（3層球結構）也是這個問題，初速快但飛行距離就不行。我都是以Tour Speed為基準去比較。就是短5碼，尤其非甜蜜點的距離短比較多。這樣一來一往就比tour speed少了10碼。 本文未完，下集請待續。請至洋梨/peargolf的Facebook閱覽相關圖片。謝謝！ With the launch monitor data, these two golf balls gets similar result with good ball speed, launch angle and flying distance, but the carry distance is kind of short compared with my ideal golf ball Titleist Tour Speed ball with the same 3 layer, 2 injection mid and cover TPU. The launch angles are 16\~18 degree that makes the ball flight higher with over 3000rpm back spin. Because of the soft compressions for these two balls and generates more spin rates and higher launch angle, the rolling distance is no big different with 20\~25 yards. Looking at tour speed ball, it's compression 86 with good feel in impact but the carry distance is 5\~ 8 yards longer than e12 contact and Tour B XS balls with similar rolling distance. If it's off sweet spot, the distance will be 10 yards longer since Bridgestone ball is not the long flying ball. The sweet spot can be 230 yards for tour speed, Bridgestone balls are 225 yards. I think it's the golf core issue since the ball structure, material and technologies are similar. Golf core is about 80% of the whole golf ball, if the core is good, the result will be good without doubt. I also compare with Srixon Z star VX ball that is for swing speed 100mph golfers, compression 96\. The feedback is ok, but the rolling distance is outstanding. Even though the flying distance is short but it can gain more rolling distance. Bridgestone's core is using good materials but it's too standardized, tour speed core knows how to make the longer fly with adding some other materials. Now the trend is to use the soft compression for golfers to get more feedback from the striking, but if the impact compression to the ball is too much, it would result the energy lost. However small percentage of the ball compression is good to generate the ball bouncing power, that's why you need to know which ball compression is fit your swing though the data. to be continued...Please go to peargolf facebook page to check the photos! Bridgestone Tour B XS, e12 contact ball review/測試!～中集 http://www.peargolf.com/article/bridgestone-tour-b-xs-e12-contact-ball-reviewceshi%EF%BD%9Ezhongji 下集開始。 這就是我認為球有差嗎？當然，而且非常篤定就是和球桿一樣，每一個細節都去在意，你的距離就可以穩定和提升。不是說這些球不好，而是各家的差異就在這些地方上。打到甜蜜點都差別不大，但非甜蜜點和擊球距離穩定性就是差別的地方。打的不好和打到甜蜜點差了20～40碼。對於動作穩定性不高的假日型球友，哪個比較重要？你自己知道答案。 你知道這碼數對你的第二桿有多大影響嗎？可能你拿中鐵或短鐵進攻，別人拿長鐵打第二桿。而你有打par和抓鳥的機會比別人要高。這是好的球款最大的優勢！所以人家Titleist是高爾夫球一哥不是沒道理。因為它最穩、效能也頂尖！製造能力也夠細心。所以別認為球都差不多，我測試下來就是有差，而且差不少。這樣的結果，我寧可拿一般2層球打也可以得到不錯的結果。也不要被當凱子哥。 我現在打球基本不太掉球，尤其一個人打時候，都會打2個球去比較不同球的表現。室內的結果是參考，而下場的表現就是鐵一樣的事實。如果有下過雨打，或草地濕一些，一些高檔球的距離真的會哭死！比一般2層球還弱。尤其那種超過3層的球，真的不是給一般人來打。飛的短就算，還滾不遠。如果打到長草就基本是飛行距離而已。根本沒有裡子了！ 別認為越多層就越好，距離也會比較遠。從來沒有！我一般下場打球都用2層surlyn球皮的球。很少用到3層或以上的·urethane球皮的球。除非測試球，用Pro V1或tour speed做比較組。Bridgestone的球，如果沒有測試和數據還真的不知道效能多少？這樣下來就謝謝。 反應到價格上，這些產品都是價位$30 （e12 contact）～$45（Tour B XS）的高階球款。我是不會去花這樣的錢。會覺得被坑的感覺。我打了後，覺得怎麼會這樣....覺得我是不是看錯還是拿錯球？拿了tour speed打就沒問題，距離、球速、launch angle都出來了。Tour speed$40，但值！ Another example is Callaway ERC soft ball, it's the same 3 layer ball. The ball speed is good but the flying distance is short compared with Titleist tour speed particularly the off sweet spot. Do I think the ball is critical and important to get fit? Yes, through the testing, I have been comparing over 10 balls with the same ball structure, technology and materials, the results are clearly indicated the off sweet spot distance is short. Why it's so important and critical? Because we are the average golfers and you can not swing consistently on striking sweet spot of the club face. If the off sweet spot can provide you more distance, you will have the good chance to get the par or birdie on your second shot. 10 to 20 yards difference means you can play mid or short iron instead of long iron for second shot. Please be aware of the luxury balls are not the best choice for average golfers if you do not have certain swing speed to drive the ball long. Another key is soft compression ball is not good for all kinds of golfers particularly your swing speed is over 95mph on driver. The compression lower than 60 will be too much compressed for average golfers who have swing speed over 90mph. That's the reason why the Titleist ball is the number one in golf since they cares the details and make it better than others in all kinds of fields. e12 contact ball costs $30 and Tour B XS is about $45, Titleist tour speed $40\.
