> ## Content Index > Fetch the complete content index at: https://peargolf.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover other available public pages before exploring further. # Split Rock Golf Courses - URL: https://peargolf.com/split-rock-golf-courses/ - Published: 2023-04-28T10:23:52.000Z - Updated: 2023-04-28T10:23:52.000Z - Author: Chien Lung Ho - Tags: 球場, #imported, #Import 2026-08-19 20:27 Split Rock Golf Courses! 在紐約也有台灣的高爾夫球隊，之前和紐約臺高球隊的會長Raymond聯絡過，這次是2023年的第一場球會來和球隊一起打球。這是我頭一次和球隊打球，在紐約Bronx Split Rock球場。預計下午1點開球，有超過70個球友參加，規模很大。我和Raymond一起打，從第18洞開始，打藍tee，全長超過6600碼。從昨天晚上到週日早上都在下雨，球隊說風雨無阻。只能硬著頭皮上。 還好到中午就停了，不過球場還是很溼，今天看來不會好打。基本上大多的par 4 都是超過400碼，但球基本是滾不了或滾一下就停了，所以第二桿會比較吃力，還好我今天球道木都有發揮，讓表現不會烙賽。這個球場的難在於距離，樹很高大，對於視覺上是一個挑戰和壓力。有一些球道是左右狗腿，你無法看到果嶺，對於後9會比較難。 另外它的球道也比較窄，稍微一偏就會進樹林。我今天的木桿開球都不穩，很多球都落在樹林，但都還不至於不見，只能把球送到球道再攻。所以今天球道溼本來就對距離不好，一點便宜都沒有。第二桿都要送到180碼，我基本都可以把球送到果嶺或果嶺前。但我沒有下沙坑。所以第二桿都還可以。今天只有掉一個球，開進樹林，找不到。 另一個掉球是第17洞，球道中間是積水，而且面積很大，開在球道中間落水。結果完全看不到球。這是生平第一次看球上球道，結果找不到球。今天讓我的球道木有很多的機會來發揮，完全都可以收放自如，有2洞是直接打上果嶺。沙坑也不容易，因為下雨讓沙坑很硬不容易打出來。看到同組球友米粉炒一下。 對於果嶺來說，這個球場的果嶺真的不容易，地形起伏加很大。所以如果你上果嶺不對，一樣容易3推。但我今天第一次用Lab B2推桿，超驚訝，都可以2推結束，有2洞是3推，也有4洞是一推。完全超過我預期。非常穩定，桿頭和桿面容易控制，基本上桿面可以方正的觸球！好爽。真的要來訂它們另一款推桿來玩。 本文未完，下集請待續。 This time I am playing with local Taiwanese golf club. It's my first time to play with the big group with over 70 golfers to shotgun at 1pm. The golf course is in Bronx Split Rock golf course, it's close my place about 30 minutes driving but my friend picks me up for car pool to save time and driving. I appreciate Raymond for invitation to play and hope we would have a great golfing during Sunday. We have foursome to play for over 6600 yards with blue tee and they are all good with good distance. Since last night was raining until Sunday noon, Raymond told me it's playable for any conditions. The difficulty is the ball rolling close to zero, it makes me to play the second shot for almost fairway woods. Particularly the fairway is tough for landing accuracy with trees. My tee shot for drivers are not as good as normal, it goes to trees about 40% but luckily my fairway woods are outstanding to save lots of bad tee shots. It's over 400 yards for 90% of par 4 and if you do not have good distance for your second shot, you are unable to save the par. That's why if you would like to become single handicapper, distance is basic and must have ability. The bunkers are not many but green is surrounded by bunkers. That's why your second shot is extremely important to play accuracy, otherwise, the result would not be good for you. I do not get in the bunkers today but I check the bunkers which is hard since the raining makes the sands stickiness. It's a challenge to get out the bunker for the sand wedges. Regarding the greens, it's also good challenges as the greens design big with sloping. You need to find the right path and also your green reading ability. You need to check the flagole located since the green is big, there is always about 10 yards difference when you make the approach. The back 9's greens are slow, the speed is about 7. to be continued.. Split Rock Golf Courses/球場!\~上集 https://www.peargolf.com/article/split-rock-golf-coursesqiuchangshangji 下集開始。 對於一般球友是很好用，因為桿頭重量夠，桿面不容易會偏，你只要把桿子抓住就可以。我另一支新推桿Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5也沒有這樣穩定，當然都可以2推，但說實在，這個推桿太容易掌握。基本上不需要讓你的手掌去控制桿子和桿頭。這個Lie Angle Balance在實際使用上，確實很好用！ 果嶺在後9洞的果嶺很慢，大約7左右，但到前9就變成9的速度。會很難掌握力道和距離。果嶺狀況都不錯，但不是很平。球推起來都說跳跳球，所以能有今天不到30推表現，我自己是驚訝！另外在果嶺邊，球場刻意把草留起來，基本上很容易會被草拌住。讓球友會吃點苦頭，我有一球打在果嶺邊，用推桿，就被草絆住，導致球的速度被影響。 這個球場的難度確實有但不是不容易去克服，再打個2回就可以在80上下。我今天也忘記帶測距離/rangefinder，所以距離掌握不是太好，會稍微點一點。因為陰天，空氣密度也高，所以距離都會比較短一點，讓我很多球都沒有標準桿打上果嶺。切桿也時好時壞，需要在一些時間把一些短切的細節做更好。 同組的另外2個球友的表現也不錯，都是把實力差不多放在一起，所以打下來節奏都很快。只是沒有太多時間去聊天話家常。因為他們有比賽所以會比較認真，加上70多個人打必須要快，不然無法在6點前結束。不過這個球隊的紀律很好，並沒有看到有組別打的慢，沒有塞車和影響其他人。6點就看到大家到餐廳吃飯和頒獎。 和球隊打球需要以整體為主，但就缺乏彼此的互動。不是說沒有時間喇賽，彼此在競爭狀況，實在很難放開來去話家常。這是讓我卻步的原因，我喜歡打球、和球友喇賽，不喜歡計桿數。享受打球和大自然，建立在這個基礎上和球友去分享彼此的一些東西。也感謝Raymond的邀請，也希望有機會可以一起去打球。 The front 9 is fast with 9 or 10 in speed. That's hard for me to find the right power to control the putting distance. However, my putting is good overall with 28 putts. I have 4 holes for 1 putt and 2 holes for 3 putts, the rest is 2 putts. Since I use LAB B2 putter for this round, and without the experience, I can have such putting performance and consistency, it's so amazing and impressive! The positive feature from LAB putter is the square putter face for contacting the ball. It helps me to get the right path without missing the putt. The heavier putter head delivers the solid and consistent putter head movement without too much controlling from the hands. heavier putter always drives more energy to play but in the back 9, I am still ok to have many good putting. Of course, my putting ability is not bad but to have good putter is also critical for maintaining the performance. This year I have added two new putters including Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 and Lab B2 putter, these are all performing so good with differential features and advantages. If the green condition is good such as in southern golf courses, I think Phantom X is good for green speed over 9. B2 is good for slow green speed since the head weight is heavier and easier to get the distance. That's how you understand and leverage your tools for the best performance. The other good thing is the group golfing can be so organized and we all finish before 6pm then have the dinner. It's hard to have such management for over 70 golfers and accomplish without slowing down the speed of golfing. I think the club manager and operation are well prepared and experienced. That's the thing I need to give them credit.
