Titleist球桿的顏值一直是頂尖。打了10多年的日本鍛造鐵桿，最近又重回到主流大廠的懷抱。T200的型讓我的手指又故障了。爬了Titleist原廠官方說明，一堆東西，屌技術、高科技..說穿了就是：Hollow body/中空桿頭設計提升性能、鎢合金低重心設計、高容錯、鍛造桿面提升手感。就是這些核心組成T200.其他的我就滑過就算了。 我近10年的鐵桿都是用中空桿頭。因為中空桿頭兼具凹背的易打、高容錯和刀背的操控。對於手感，當然沒有像鍛造桿頭那樣軟綿。但主體和桿面的2片組合，讓桿面如同木桿類，可以讓擊球爽度提升。有更多桿面回饋。對我來說，這樣的手感是和鍛造綿密感是不同風格。感覺沒有對錯，我就是愛這個味。 T200的型，就是走刀背風。桿頭設計很紮實集中，線條感很立體飽滿。桿頭放在地上，就是一個小。所以不是那種易打大頭風。和我另一支Taylormade M5大小是差不多。現在的桿頭設計，不管是木桿類還是鐵桿，都講究性能。就算M5也是做pocket back/半凹背設計，這些桿頭的共通點，就是要把桿頭的性能和容錯都提到最高。讓球友可以有更多的犯錯空間，同時性能可以輕鬆發揮。 T200 6鐵角度是28度，M5 6鐵是26度。都是強勢的角度。而原廠也是把規格長度走操控風。長度是37.5“， M5 6鐵是38”。 當然T200 6鐵的重量是260g， M5 是255.3g.這樣的重量差就會差在長度上。揮重都會放在D2～D4，看用的桿身特性和材質。我現在都會把長鐵和中鐵的長度設定差不多。37.5“讓打長鐵一樣可以很輕鬆自如。 因為我把T200和M5都是配LAGP AXS Red 85， T200是用S硬度，M5是R硬度。當然我有做調整，因為我不想彈道太高和倒旋高，所以對桿身前端有設定不同於原廠的規格。桿子的重量不高，可以讓使用和操控拉高。而對於彈道和倒旋，就是可以根據自己需求去調整。我一直都不會找一般規格去做，這樣才有樂趣和發掘更多的東西。 本文未完，請待續！ Titleist golf clubs are always attractive on appearance and design. Of course, the quality of the golf clubs are the best of the major golf equipment brands. I have been playing hollow body irons for a decade and love the design and performance, now it's the time to get the new set of irons for hollow body. Titleist T200 iron is the best pick for me since I have studied hollow body irons from market and T200 is fit with my requirements and expectation. I have read T200 iron's product specification and description, it's low Center of Gravity, 2 piece design/body, face, and good forgiving features, I find no reason to say no. I love 2 piece body design with forged face feedback. It's like woods that you are able to feel which spot you hit on the face. It's unlike forged iron head with soft feel but I prefer 2 piece hollow body design. The other thing is hollow body can deliver good forgiving and performance without hitting on the sweet spot. That's key for average golfers to enjoy more on golf. I am crazy about T200 appearance with solid muscles body and outline. 6i loft is 28 degree compared with Taylormade M5 6i loft 26\. It's all strong loft that you can get more distance easily. The head weight is 260g, M5 is 255.3g that allows you to adjust the right length for fitting the swing weight. I prefer to set the long and mid irons on the same length for easier to control and hit. I load LAGP AXS Red 85 shafts for these two iron to compare, but I adjust the shaft tip to make the flex similar with each other. That's the fun for me to build my ability and skills for making things feel similar with various specifications. The setup key is to make the iron to swing easily, manage the swing nicely and perform the swing powerfully. It sounds easy but never be an easy job for the clubfitter/clubmaker. to be continued... Titleist T200 iron review/測試!～上集 http://www.peargolf.com/article/titleist-t200-iron-reviewceshi%EF%BD%9Eshangji 中集開始。 我先去練習場測試，然後下場，打2個月後得到的使用心得。練習場測試都是每一支打5球，換另一支，再打5球，休息。後面再打一次。這樣觀察擊球手感、回饋、和性能表現。2支的使用都沒有什麼問題，揮起來，M5揮比較輕鬆，因為桿頭的重量比較輕。握把對我來說都是舒服，且不會滑動。對上我的速度是OK。 我先說打M5，M5打起來很舒服，中球的手感是整個桿面的震動回饋。因為是口袋型的桿背設計，桿面是一片鍛造不鏽鋼。回饋舒服也彈。而且容錯很高，非甜蜜點的擊球感覺比較硬，但甜蜜點和周圍的熱區，都非常舒服。很彈的感覺，像打球道木和木桿。我喜歡這桿頭的彈性，以不是鍛造和中空桿頭，這桿頭的回饋都是非常爽。 T200的回饋和M5有明顯不同。T200是中空設計，桿面也是不鏽鋼材質，但回饋桿面比較脆。可以明顯知道中球在桿面的位置。桿頭感覺比較小，中球的好壞是很直接。有點像在打鍛造鐵桿，非甜蜜點會讓你感覺重手。但甜蜜點也是非常舒服但不是彈，而是有點擠壓感。揮起來也很容易輕鬆。整體的桿頭回饋算中等。 再說到桿身的回饋，2支都是一樣的桿身款式，只有硬度有不同。我從以前打Matrix Program鐵桿桿身都測過不同的硬度和重量，桿身的回饋基本都是一樣。感覺不出來硬度的差別。這次也是特別訂2個不同硬度，打起來還是一樣。感覺都是無法知道R和S是哪一支。我對產品的感覺是比較敏感，但打Red 85是都感覺不出差別。而且我裁減前端是明顯有差異。但結果感覺還是一樣。 Red 85的桿身也是很舒服。它不像日系桿身有比較明顯的桿身彈性或踢的感覺。它和之前的Matrix性能桿身的回饋設計是差不多。我可以明顯感覺到桿身的中段有受力彎曲，但沒有明顯釋放反彈。就是很順暢。對於揮桿速度不快的球友，這樣的桿身反饋比較簡單，也不需要去算桿身的彈力。什麼位置、時間點、和彈的大小。就是把力量灌下去，桿身自然會處理擊球。 本文未完，下集請待續。 I used to play the new irons on driving range and each iron hits 5 ball then switch to the other one to check the performance and feel. Once I have basic idea of the new irons, I play in golf courses to see how it performs with the golf balls, fairway and greens. M5 and T200 are very easy to me to handle and swing. There is no difficulty to manage these 2 irons. M5 is easier to swing since the head weight is lighter than T200 and T200 is good for golfers who like to work the ball. I think the length can be shorter for controlling and swing speed is fast or smooth fast golfers. The grips on T200 and M5 are all good for me to work with rubber material and soft feel to handle the irons. M5 is pocket back design that has face and half cavity back body. I like the feel for M5 with striking and bouncing feedback. The impact is whole face but T200 is able to identify the spot of the face. I would say the T200 impact is more compressing feel with the golf ball, there is no good or bad but for me I like both. You can enjoy the striking with two kinds of impact feels. Regarding the shaft, I fit with LAGP AXS Red 85 iron shaft, but load R and S for M5 and T200\. Why? I would like to feel the difference between R and S in practical play. Of course I adjust the tipping with various length to make the flex become similar. Practically it really can't feel the difference on R and S. but the Stiff flex is more penetrating on ball fly and ball speed. That's the way to tell me the ball is flying more efficiently. The spin rate is lower than R flex M5 combo. It's hard to feel the shaft vibration during the swing. It's unlike Japanese carbon shafts with more kicking feel on releasing. Nowadays the iron shaft is embedded with strong carbon fiber sheet that is changed the way of graphite shaft loading and unloading the power during the swing. to be continued... Titleist T200 iron review/測試!～中集 http://www.peargolf.com/article/titleist-t200-iron-reviewceshi%EF%BD%9Ezhongji 下集開始。 2個桿頭的易打都不錯。T200會稍微難，從它的桿頭小，桿面也小，不容易打到甜蜜點，但就我自己下場打的感覺，這個桿頭不需要揮的很大力或速度快去擊球。輕鬆打，把桿頭帶下去擊球就好，就算是沒有打到甜蜜點，一樣可以有不錯的效果。這是我很喜歡它的地方，非甜蜜點的距離差個5～8碼的差別。沒有想像的難打。 M5就明顯好打，桿頭非甜蜜點的擊球都有不錯的結果。產品的成熟度很高，不管你速度快或平順揮，都一樣，距離不會差別太多。桿頭很類似凹背特性。實際下場打距離和容錯高，也是不需要大力打，就可以把距離送出來。彈道來說，這個和T200是差不多。也是從低到高的飛行軌跡，打起來很有穿透力，也很爽！ T200打出來比較像選手的球路。非常殺的球路，低到高，掉下來。滾動性也有10～15碼，倒旋明顯比較低。球速很猛，爽度滿格。桿頭的效能上比M5要猛，它真的像打鍛造桿頭。飛行距離來說，T200 6i我用pro V1的距離是163碼，滾動可以有10～15碼距離。M5要比較遠一點，因為角度比較低2度，飛行比T200要遠3～5碼左右。滾動約10碼。 T200比較容易做球，可以容易打左曲和右曲來。有點不像打中空半凹背。應該說打T200要比較集中精神，稍微動作走莖，球的尾巴就容易偏掉。但最多就落在果嶺旁或沙坑。不至於會出界！其實打T200要比較輕鬆去打，這樣會更好去發揮桿頭效能。桿頭的容錯也不錯、只要吃球到了，性能自然就出來。不需要太用力摧。球就直直出去！這就是科技進步讓打球更容易也更輕鬆。 現在鐵桿的桿頭也和木桿一樣。都要把容錯和易打做到最大化。對一般球友來說，這樣的桿子才會是好用，性能到位的產品。M5和T200都是不錯的產品，對一般球友都是可以考量的產品。如果你的動作和速度不錯，T200會是更好的考慮。因為它幾乎就是鍛造鐵桿的風格、手感和性能。但它卻有更好的容錯。其實打T200要更順暢去擊球，桿頭和桿身會把效果發揮出來。 打T200這樣的桿頭不要用傻力和蠻力去打。它其實很容易和簡單，把你的動作做到就可以。越用力打，就更不容易打好，性能也就一般般。我個人覺得T200比較好玩，也有樂趣。M5是更簡單和容易。幾乎不要求你的動作要多穩定，打得到球就可以。所以這幾年的鐵桿都做得愈來愈好，只要把桿子配置對的規格，讓你可以更容易去發揮身體力量和轉動，桿子會做它們的活！ With TM M5 and T200 irons, I would say M5 is very easy and forgiving combo for average golfers to consider. T200 is smaller head and smaller face, you will need to make sure the face contacted ball, the result will be great. It's the technology and product development to make T200 so comfortable to drive the performance. When I play T200, I do not drive hard and fast, I make my swing smooth up and down then the face strike the ball solidly. The result is better than my expectation! The feedback is very similar with forged irons with solid contact and feel. The off sweet spot from T200 face is about 5 to 8 yards distance differentiation that is acceptable. In terms of performance, the ball speed is like bullet with very penetrating trajectory. The whole ball fly is from low to high pattern. I really like T200 ball performance and comparing with M5, it is so easy to play and deliver the good distance. But it's so easy and there is not too much fun from working the ball with M5\. T200 is more room for you to work the ball with various ball flies. With my experience, nowadays the iron development trend is like wood and driver, the forgiving and easy to play are the fundamentals to allow golfers to enjoy the striking. Average golfers won't be able to play and swing like pros, therefore, the head design and specification must be forgiving and simple for golfers to enjoy. T200 is a well designed and mature product, you do not need to strike hard and swing fast in order to get the best result. As long as you can strike the face, the performance will be easily performed. All I need to do is to set up the right specification and shaft to fit my swing. Then I am able to manage my swing and tempo to strike the ball solidly. Hollow body iron design is the trend of 21st century, I have been using such products for over 10 years, the new hollow body irons are getting better with all fields. I believe you can give it a try to see the difference between traditional forged irons and cavity irons.
