There are lots of wedge sole grinding designs, honestly I do not know too much of each grinding features and advantages. All I know is the grinding needed to be sharp in order to eat the grass and turf . You have to think the reason to have sole grinding is to make the face sole edge working like the knife, you are able to sweep the turf as easy as possible. Moreover, the ground is hard, the sole grinding is good to work out the problem. It's also good on bunker that you need to open the face to get the ball out of it. With sole grinding particularly on sole heel grinding. If the wedge sole doesn't grind on the heel, it will be hard and unable to sweep your wedge head for creating better spin rate and higher trajectory in short game. To be continued... 挖起桿的研磨角度到底需不需要、怎麼選/Do I need to have the sole grinding on wedge head？～上集 http://www.peargolf.com/article/waqigandeyanmojiaodudaodi%E9%9C%80bu%E9%9C%80yao%E3%80%81zenmoxuando-i-need-have-sole-grinding-wedge-head%EF%BC%9F%EF%BD%9Eshangji 下集開始。 最保險的研磨方法就是桿底的根部有研磨角出來。桿趾需要研磨嗎？看人！我個人覺得影響有限。因為有研磨的桿頭比較容易吃土，打硬的土。尤其台灣北部這類變態的硬土。拿鋤頭最好！如果土軟的球場，bounce不需要太小，不然會容易吃深。 市面上很多不同的研磨，什麼L型、M型或S型....反正，不管什麼型，都是可以分為兩類：一為沒有研磨的，另一為有研磨的。只是一般沒有研磨的多半會在邊邊角角稍微磨一點。只要底部的形狀為方正，就歸類沒有研磨的方正型。 如果底角有進行研磨，不管在桿根或桿趾，或是都有。就是有研磨的底部。就是要手巧和身體敏感度高的動作掃擊球，才會比較適合。相信我，我那時候在練桿面打開+開放式打法，常常炒米粉、摳到球狀況。 所以練這種球最好別去計桿數。也不要和朋友拚輸贏。著眼在鍛鍊短切的技術和信心指數。有研磨底角的桿頭最好也別高於10度以上的反彈角。這樣可以比較容易吃土，帶出球來。沙坑也是一樣。桿底比較薄會更容易吃下沙，把球給噴出來。 wedge其實不難，都是廠商把它變難和複雜化。但如果你只是簡單的切球法，就不要多事去想這類研磨底部的桿頭了。雖然看起來很殺，但用起來可會讓你欲哭無淚，哭爸哭媽。在高爾夫球桿裡頭，越好看的桿子，它的難度就越高。這是不變法則！ Wedge is very important for golfers as it's always saving your par's gear. Forgetting about S, M, L sole grinding, I only care the sole needed to be grinded on the heel, it will help you open the wedge face to deliver more spin rate. With toe grinding, it's good on the turf but not as important as heel grinding. Wedge is not complex but the equipment makers make it hard to know and hard to pick the right one. You need to know the bounce, grinding and loft in order to pick the right wedges. It's not like that, you need to know what situations you need the wedges to help you? What short game you are going to have? What skills of your wedge shots?
