2021年鐵桿特性和風潮！

今年打了不少的鐵桿，也對現今鐵桿的特性有些瞭解和熟悉。我測試的品牌有Taylormade， Titleist，Callaway，Ping等美系大廠產品。Titleist的鐵桿我是用T200，我自己訂一套，然後重組我的規格和更換桿身。這些桿子多半都是2021年的新款式，所以可以從裡面瞭解大廠對鐵桿的設計風格和趨勢。這也是我想和大家喇賽分享。

鐵桿的設計也是走傳統八股的刀背、凹背、和鍛造。但有新增的中空主體的產品線。似乎是各大品牌所看好的未來性。每一家都會有中空桿頭的產品。當然我也用刀背，凹背和鍛造這些產品，不過下場就主要用中空的桿頭設計，對於已經用了超過8年時間，還是愛不釋手。效果比較好，而且倒旋量也比較低。距離自然可以飛的遠一點。因為中空桿頭是和木桿類一樣的設計模式，對於效能、外觀和回饋都是滿格。

以這些大品牌的產品來說，Ping的產品比較有個性。鍛造的產品效能和回饋比較弱、手感也一般，並沒有突出，但外型非常吸睛。是比較大的雷包。但它的中空和凹背產品就不錯，但相對其他2T1C來說，稍嫌不給力。只能說，如果以產品和性能進度去比較，還是2T1C的天下。因為這三個品牌產品說實在是不相上下，各有特色。而且Titleist的鐵粉也是比較多和紮實。在產品的硬實力上算最好。

它的產品成熟度和質感最高。手感、外觀和操控都是最優。但性能也不差。它的桿子包含木桿類，不會最差，但也不是吊車尾。都在前段班！這是我一直欣賞Titleist的原因。買它們的東西只要好好的去配置，最後的結果一定會屌爆其他對手。因為它們的產品的可塑性最高。稍微調整或更換對的特性桿身，桿子會脫胎換骨，這也是我自己的T200經驗。

再說到Callaway，它的產品款式最多。基本就是桿海戰術！外觀有很強的Callaway DNA。不管是刀背、凹背、半凹背或中空的桿頭，都可以知道這是Callaway的產品。外觀不是它吸引我的地方，因為風格太類似，有沒用區隔的跳ton感。但Callaway的鍛造手感是最好，從以前它的x forged我就是它的粉絲。雖然不是日本鍛造產品，但以代工產品來說，手感柔順非它莫屬。

I have been trying various irons in 2021, with that I am familiar with their technology, material and design. That's I am trying to share with everyone for the 2021 iron trend and pros and cons. I have tried Taylormade, Titleist, Callaway and Ping with cavity, blade and hollow body designs. I personal bought one set of Titleist T200 iron and reshaft with my own specification. It's fun and here are the finding with my experiences.

The iron trend is consistent for forged blade, cavity and packet cast styles, however, in recent years' hollow body is getting more products to the markets and becomes hot product to golfers to consider. I have been playing hollow body iron for over 8 years and I love its performance and feel. It's forgiving like cavity and looks like bade on shape.

Among iron sets from the market, Ping is very unique that provides many hollow body iron products compared with 2T1C (Ttitleist, Taylormade and Callaway) brands. I have tried its irons, the look is great and very attractive but in terms of the feedback, and distance, it's not as good as other peers. For the pricing, it's the same as 2T1C.

How about Titleist, it's solid and good quality with my image and experience. The product is mature with quality, performance and designs. That's why there are many Titleist fans and number 1 sales in golf equipment and golf balls. The off the rock irons are good compared with other competitors but if you do customize or upgrade to good shaft, the performance, feel and forgiving are jumped to better level. That's what I got from my T200 iron set.

Regarding Callaway irons, there are many models and series. They use many models to target all kinds of golfers' preferences and demand. But the appearance looks similar without eye ball impact. However, its forged irons feedback the softest and the best. It's similar with Japan forged feel. They deserve the thumb up! Of course, the performance and distance are on the top three iron brands without question.

Callaway的性能肯定是頂尖，論性能和距離都是前段班。拿下場肯定不會丟人現眼，裡子和面子都可以兼顧。簡單說，Callaway是最穩的品牌和產品，你肯定會找到和你八字合的桿頭風格。最後是Taylormade。它的產品都是走比較易打風。也確實很易打。我用Taylormade的桿子打起來都可以很輕鬆得到不錯的結果。

而且距離效果也是最棒。這也是我在鐵桿裡比較喜歡的品牌和產品。因為它對一般人來說是相對容易發揮。如果從後續訂製的空間和調整效果，它也可以有再升一到二個等級的空間。尤其它的中空桿頭7系列，770、790我都打過，手感也很舒服，距離也拔尖，倒旋也相對其他品牌低。這些地方都贏別人一點，所以結果自然就是遠。對於外觀來說，它設計風格突出，不會me 2，外貿協會是找不到拒絕理由。

Taylormade的桿子做最好就是在外觀風格的設計，它往往會跳躍桿頭應該有的框架。看看它們的木桿桿頭就知道。鐵桿也是一樣的理念。它們設計就是走在前端，但用起來卻異常的容易和順手。它們有很硬的技術底子/know how，可以把技術變得很接地氣。這就是我喜歡它的地方。它的產品款式不會多，但風格卻很清楚、明確。比如SIM系列和P700系列就是不同特性產品，不會讓你不知所措。

這幾個品牌的產品價格都差不多。加了稅，多半在200美元。有如此多的產品去選擇，還真不知道如何下手。而且就算是手感來說，每一家的產品都不一樣，但打起來就是舒服。所以我才覺得這些品牌產品的差異真的不大。唯有去設定為你的貼身規格和桿身，才能凸顯產品的特性。比如，穩定性，失擊傷害、距離提升、和易打等。

因為這些產品的基礎點都差不多，中空桿頭是趨勢，也結合目前凹背和刀背的優勢。易打、性能都是它的標配，手感也可以和鍛造並駕齊驅，但距離卻是鍛造所遙不可及。所以要變成你的桿子就只能走後期訂製。這是可以讓桿頭的性能發揮到另一個級別。因為你用原廠配置的組合，打出來的結果和手感，就是差不多。很難可以看出哪個桿子在哪個領域是比較突出？所以才要從後期的配置和調整重組下，把該突出的部分給強化。這是我覺得市售桿子的不足。這點從我自己的T200裡可以瞭解。

I like Callaway irons' performance and distance. That's no double when you talk about the technology and product performance. Since there are so many iron models in Callaway product line, you definitely can find the right model to fit your demand and requirements. The last brand is Taylormade, I love Taylormade because of its design, easy to play and performance.

You can also identify Taylormade products through its outstanding design but the advantage of TM iron is the forgiving. They make the technology becomes practical forgiveness. That's really impress. Moreover, the customization and later upgrade of the specification and shafts, you can get complete different irons for sure with better results.

Taylormade doesn't launches too many irons and you can easily find the models you like. I play both SIM series and P700 series, it's all good on distance, feel and forgiving. The back spin rate is also lower than other competitors. When you can win a little on each part, the result is of course better than others.

In terms of pricing, it's all similar at $200 per iron club after tax. Each brand's irons have its own style, feel, and technology. When you play it, the feel is comfortable without hard feedback. But the feel is totally different on the each brand products. That's why if it's the off the rock irons, I think it's not much different on performance, pricing and feel.

However, if you ask for something personal and fit for your swing, you will need to do the customization on the specification and reshaft aftermarket shafts for better result. The hollow body is the trend for future iron, there are more hollow iron products in the market, it benefits the feel and performance from cavity and forged blade irons. I like hollow iron since it just simply better and easier to play. How about you?
