Bridges course, Firewheel golf park！

今天打firewheel/風火輪球場的Bridges course，firewheel裡有三個不同球場，分別是Bridges， lakes，old。和朋友聊天時，建議可以打Bridges球場。而光Bridges球場就有27洞，3個9洞設計，分別是tradition，Champion，Master。所以這個球場是非常大，也要走個幾次才能打過這些不同的9洞。我的目標就是要打過北德州的所有球場。要一步一步來達成。

這個球場公園在我住的Plano區的東邊位置，開車需要30分鐘左右。選這邊是因為東邊的車流比較少，這樣打完球開回去會比較輕鬆點。前幾次打Cayote和Frisco Lake都在西邊，開的很累，車多又延著高速開，很耗體力。所以我喜歡東邊的區塊，住宅區比較多，路上車也少。我訂1點開球時間，12點出門到球場12:30，就去果嶺稍微推一下球，調整心態和熱身。

到球場賣店去取球車和瞭解今天是打哪2個9洞？瞭解後就可以去開球。在美國打球我都是用網路或App訂場，也喜歡打平日，一來人不多，打球比較舒服和輕鬆。到球場，拿球車後就可以直接去開球，不需要等到時間到才開球。相當方便和務實。而且我也不會去練習場練球，直接在前2～3洞暖身打起。

我們今天從Champion球場開始打，接著是Masters，這兩個9洞比較有名，也是難度比較高。我和2個朋友一起打，他們打藍梯，我一個人打金梯。金梯總長是7000碼了。因為覺得打藍梯有點簡單，直接挑戰金梯（別家場子的黑梯）。這個球場的難度是有的，水池在放在幾個球道上，大多的障礙是樹林和沙坑。

果嶺的面積不大，所以第二桿需要打有準度才能上去。果嶺也不是砲台式隆起設計。只要掌握好距離和方向基本就沒有什麼大問題。其實我覺得打這個球場距離最好要抓大一點，寧可抓過旗桿的距離，也不要打短，因為果嶺前多半會有沙坑和水池。加上不時會有風的攪局，需要把風的影響給算進去，這塊是看不見的難度。

This time I play Firewheel golf park's Bridge course. There are three golf courses in firewheel park, bridges, lakes and old. It's big golf course park. My friend suggests me to play bridge first since it's more challenging and long. There are three 9 holes in bridge course, it's tradition, champion and master. I think it takes times to accomplish all the courses for firewheel.

It's taking about 30 minutes driving from Plano, I prefer to play east side golf courses from Plano since the traffic is not as bad as west area. Since I was playing Cayote and Frisco lake golf courses in west side, it's taking similar driving time but hard to drive with many cars and traffic. The firewheel is more likely in forest and living area so it's easy to find and drive. That's the plus for playing this course.

My tee time is 1pm, and arrives on 12:30 then pick up the cart key. Before tee shot, I used to go to practice putting green to get myself ready to play. I like to play during the weekday since there are not many people to play and I have the good time to enjoy the whole afternoon. The first 2 or 3 holes are the warming time for my swing.

I do not go to driving range to get my swing ready, that's why the first 2 holes are the time for me to get my swing warmup. I have 2 friends to play with me and we start from Champion then Master is the back 9. These two are tough and I play gold tee with 7000 yards total distance, it's good to have such challenge.

The difficulties are the bunkers and trees all around the fairway and green. The green is not big so once you land the green, I can make it 2 putts to finish. I would suggest to make the shot longer since the green always has the bunkers or water, if you make it short, you get damaged. Moreover, there are winds to make your distance short. That's why I play bigger distance for my shot.

下集開始。

可是今天風不大，體力消耗快，所以打起來真的有點累。空氣濕度小，距離也比較可以出來。雖然打金梯，用得比較多球道木進攻，穩定性還不錯。應該打多了，已經掌握自己的打法和節奏。球桿也比較可以照自己的節奏和方式去發揮。就算有失誤，也都不是出界。大多有一點小fade。所以今天完全沒有掉球，最多在長草或滾到樹林。2顆球打完全場。一個前9，另一個後9.

Champion 9洞是比較困難的。它的Par 4 都是400碼起跳，所以幾個長的4桿洞就當5桿洞來打。把bogey當par打。只要開球稍微手抖，沒打好，就要3 on了。推桿還是比較穩的，可以在2推結束。果嶺的狀況就和中山高一樣，都有不少傷疤。質量就普普了。今天週二，打球的人多到會嚇到，後面組別一直前撲後湧的上來。超有壓力。

Champion就是樹很多，落點不對，會影響第二桿進攻，容易會kiss到樹梢，導致你又多一桿。另外它的沙坑也多，今天下沙一次，沙是細的，需要全力打才能出來。最好收桿是，讓手臂可以多往上拉起來。球就容易飛高。尤其在球道上的沙坑，最好不要下，不然這洞打加一桿是算厲害了。

我今天打的比較穩扎穩打，開球不好，如果在樹林附近，影響進攻，就是打到球道上，再進攻。這樣可以把傷害壓到最低。不然像以前那樣橫衝直撞、像神風特攻隊的無腦進攻，一定頭破血流！因為朋友們就是這樣。打多了，就知道現實的殘酷，把腦殘發作的機會壓低。就可以一路綠燈！

Masters水比較多，但也還好。我打起來反而比Champion要旺！抓2支鳥。一球直接切進。另一個par 5，3 on，一推。Masters和我的8字合，抓4洞的par，後9旺到抓不住。因為我覺得masters的球道也比較寬，難在它的球道比較多起伏，果嶺不是在下坡或在上坡地形。打球經驗值高低是過關要件。攻果嶺的第二桿比較刁鑽也是關鍵。2個洞是在400碼以內，等於是送分題。

只能說Bridges球場像Costco一樣，太多人了，果嶺的質量很烙賽。而且打球的人球品，都沒用啟動激活，人一走下果嶺或球道，球就飛過來。感覺超鳥，如果不是自己超頻開外掛的表現，早就收工回家了。
球場的服務就別提了，開球後就自求多福。也沒用巡場，所以這打球的球品基本就是次級。如果你是紳士這裡就不招待了。

總之這球場差評是跑不掉了。球場特色太多me2了。就是要有準度，可以稍微偏心一點，但差太多就進樹林。對另外2個球場的預期也不會太優了。感覺這是在德州最差的球場！而且在東邊的球場感覺都比西邊要差。是全方位的差！

Today is hot without the winds, the body works harder than other days. Of course, the good thing is the ball fly longer as the air is not so humid. I play most of second shots with my fairway woods and I am able to control it well to make the ball deliver the right direction and distance. There are two balls lost today, one is in the first 9, the other is on back 9.

Champion is tough for golfers since there are many par 4 with over 400 yards for gold tee. Therefore, I make it 3 on then 2 putts for most of par 4 holes. If there is no mistake on my swing with solid impact, I can make it 2 on. The green condition is not good seems it's over used and over loading. Today is Tuesday but looks like weekend crowd.

The other challenge is the tree, there are many trees surrounded the fairway and greens. If you miss the shot, it's better to play safe with my experience. It's easier to hit the trees and make you ball unable to get out the problem. The bunkers are also tough, there are many bunkers on the middle of fairway. You have to hit it hard to the sands and the ball can bounce high.

I play well today since my strategy is solid instead of aggression. I make the mistakes but I do not make the damage wider, if you know the right way to close the hole. Other peers have suffered the damages with aggressive play. That's why learning from the experience is key for golf to make your game better.

Master course is easier with more waters. I doesn't bother me as I played better than Champion with 4 pars and 2 birdies. Since the fairways are wider than Champion, the difficulty is on the fairway up/down hill design that makes you hard to swing smooth and target the green with good view. The greens are always on the uphill or downhill, you need to play the right distance in order to land the ball on the green.

Frankly speaking, I don't like this golf course since there are so many golfers to play without managing and controlling. The service is bad and slow response. The golfers play without respect. When we walk down from the green, the balls are landing the green or the bunker. I would say it's the worst experience I have played in Texas. The golf courses in east side of the plano are not as good as west side on management, condition and services. If you are the gentleman, west side's courses should be the right solution for you.
