刀背是打爽的，現代化的中空刀背其實可以裡子、面子兼顧/Good shape and good performance of hollow cavity！

刀背是很多球友的夢想情人！那種桿頭性感飽滿的線條，桿面後方的肌肉設計，實在讓人口水直流，久久不能自我。但！如果是鍛造刀背，就是有點自虐的產品。娶回家就是花瓶，要不就是會用起來自傷。很多人都說用刀背可以提升自己的動作精準度和穩定度，是沒錯，但需要長時間去苦練。更不用說下場的慘狀！

我自己也經歷用刀背那種自虐、自嗨、苦練的暗黑時期。但最後還是放棄用刀背，因為實在沒有裡子！別人用7鐵，我拿5鐵打一樣的距離。不時被酸。想想自己天生就不是虎背熊腰的練家子，何苦駕馭這種馬子。還是裡子重要。實力才是王道！

日本鍛造鐵桿頭的手感是沒話說。但對一般球友來說，為了手感，而讓打球變得自虐和難度提升數倍。實在不值。尤其和別人拚輸贏時，桿子性能衝不出來，氣勢就輸一半。非得要200%的超發揮才能贏球。輸多贏少的日子，太悶了。回歸現實吧，打好、易打、有距離的桿子吧！何苦呢。

但現在現代化的鑄造中空的刀背桿頭，簡直就是救世主！讓我的鐵桿距離回春了，再配上碳纖維高碳布的桿身，讓我7鐵距離可以猛虎出閘，更上層樓，爽爆了。不再打的喘呼呼，在後面追了。從5年前換了中空鑄造鐵桿後，進攻果嶺變得更多采多姿了，還可以屌爆朋友，打不同球路和技巧來！

爽度和裡子都兼顧！誰還用鍛造刀背啊。我這裏說的中空刀背是桿面和主體，兩個零件組成的桿頭設計。和木桿桿頭設計一樣。桿面可以用不同材質，或鍛造桿面提升手感，同時可以得到更好的擊球效果。而桿頭內部，有些廠商是灌膠，如PXG 0311，Taylormade 790， Cobra Forged Tec. 有些是沒有。我喜歡沒有灌膠，這樣手感會更好！灌膠的擊球回饋比較悶，爽度不到位。

Blade is lots of golfers' best love in irons. Looking at the shape and design of blade iron, it's so sexy with heavy breathing. You always want to have one set of blade in your bag or collection. However, it's kind of tough to play blade for average golfers and newcomers. If your swing is not stable, it's unable to handle the blade to play what you are expecting.

I played blade long time ago, it was tough, and hard to handle it. You need to spend at least one year to play it nicely but sometimes you are still unable to eat the ball solidly. That's the blade you are playing, it's not friendly, not forgiving and not good performing. I gave up my blade later on as my irons distances are short compared with others. My friend play 7 iron and I use 5 iron to target the same distance. That makes the play harder and more difficult.

The average golfers do not do the workout to train and build your body to play speed and power. Please do not think it's irrelevant, if your body is unable to play powerful shot for blades, you would like me that is shorter distance with other good swing golfers. That's the fundamental for golfers to play blade, if you are weekend golfers, try to find something forgiving and good performance cavity or pocket design irons.

Nowadays there is hollow design iron head for golfers to play with blade appearance but it's cavity forgiving advantage. I shifted to hollow cavity iron head about 5 years ago, it certainly helped me play easier and better performance. Now I can compete with my peers with the same iron and the same distance.

Golfers need to understand simple thing that to play simple and easy is key instead of making lots of hassles and difficulties for your irons. The hollow cavity design has blade muscle shape and cavity's easy to play and forgiving. I fit with graphite carbon shaft with hollow cavity head, it allow my distance to jump up much better than before.

The hollow cavity head is two pieces design with face and body two parts. The face can be used other material instead of stainless for better performance. Some hollow cavity is used forged face to deliver the good striking feel. There are many hollow cavity iron products such as PXG 0311，Taylormade 790， Cobra Forged Tec.

有些日系的桿頭裡面有設計中空，那不是我說的中空。因為桿面不是獨立的零件，所以那種半吊子的中空，其實骨子裡還是半實心的鍛造桿頭設計。中空必須加上獨立的桿面設計，才能讓桿面產生提升擊球性能的作用。所以如果你要有距離、性能的中空刀背桿，就要去瞭解它桿頭設計和構造才能買到真命天子。

傳統鍛造刀背和中空鑄造刀背是有根本不同、各有千秋。當然鍛造刀背還是在手感上完勝鑄造刀背，但在性能距離上，鑄造刀背就甩得鍛造刀背完全看不到車尾燈。再說到外觀和設計，我覺得刀背基本就是那幾種設計，但中空鑄造刀背的尺寸會比較大一點，這也提升它的易打性。這是鍛造刀背小桿頭、小桿面所沒有。當然喜歡它的桿頭設計球友，就是愛這種騷樣！這也是鍛造刀背的註冊商標。

其實中空鑄造刀背的構造和凹背桿頭是大同小異，中空鑄造刀背是把桿面後面給完全包覆起來。不是像凹背那種開放式設計，這是核心差別。所以中空鑄造刀背是比較偏半凹背設計。打起來也兼具高容錯，完全沒有鍛造鐵桿的那種自虐問題。非常實用的產品，這塊也是完勝！

多數球友需要瞭解自己的能力和身體。你要用鍛造刀背沒問題，我建議要廝殺最好換比較好打、務實、高性能的鐵桿。不然行家看到你球袋的刀背，就見獵心喜、痛宰肥羊。鍛造刀背可以用來收藏和玩玩。要打到收放自如，那不只要練動作，還有提升身體強度和韌性。除非你閒閒沒事，不然就欣賞就好。

最後，有套迷人的鍛造刀背是最好的小三！不時看看、摸摸、打打就好。真要下場拚輸贏，傢夥就要好用、順手和實用。別和自己口袋的小朋友過不去，好傢夥是能幫你賺點外快或請朋友們吃喝。裡子和面子兼顧，才比較踏實！我一些單差的朋友，沒有看到他們用鍛造刀背。多數用半凹背或中空桿頭。一樣殺得我們靠北靠母！

Some of Japan forged iron has inside hollow but it's still one piece iron head without face differentiation. It's not truly hollow cavity iron head, that's the forged head. Do not get fooled by such trick.

Typical forged blade and hollow cavity are designed differently. In terms of the impact feel, forged blade is dominated without doubt. For the appearance and shape design, hollow cavity is bigger head size with bigger head face for easier to play and forgiving feature. That is critical for average golfers to play with confidence.

Forged blade is smaller head size and hard to play as the face is smallest with all kinds of iron heads. That's why if you do not have good swing and consistent striking ability, it's hard to handle blade. Of course, smaller head and face are part of blade trademark and characteristic.

In practical, hollow cavity is good for average golfers as it's cavity feature with lower CG (center of gravity) for easier to lift the ball on the air and good distance. If you are not a hard working golfers to play regularly, it's the best iron for you to handle with less difficulty. Comparing with forged blade, it's outstanding advantage in play.

To play forged blade, you need to have not only stable swing, but strong body and muscle to drive the ball long. That's the fundamental you need to know. Most of my friend with single handicap, they do not play blade at all, they have cavity and hollow cavity to drive the ball hard and long. They all know blade has great feel but in terms of usage, feel can not win the game in the end.

Good shape and good feel would not let you have outstanding score. To play well, you have to pick the irons with some features for working your shortage and weakness. Playing smart is the best way to help you win the game and do not let the feel fool you around.
