德州打球的心得點滴分享！

在德州打了半年的球，覺得可以好好的來聊一下，達拉斯地區的高爾夫球場風格和一些心得點滴。基本上德州的幾個大城就是州都；奧斯丁，再來就是休士頓。而達拉斯在德州的北部，是第三大城。這邊的高爾夫是非常盛行，也是標配。因為地大，球場都有足夠的面積可以享受。也都是平地球場為主。

一到暑假，很多高爾夫營隊和課程就會如野火般漫開。所以小孩，老人都是主要的加入族群。當然從20到60歲都是主力。如果你在德州，沒有打高爾夫就在寶山，沒有去享用，浪費了。比賽也都有，美巡賽也有在德州的場次，PGA的總部和Bryson Dechambeau也都在這裡。朋友一次去練球還看到他在練球和拍視頻。

我在這半年裡也打差不多20多個球場，感覺球場的風格都大同小異。挑戰度有，但變化有限。當然和台灣、中國的球場風格是比較不同。比較白話的說法是球場很接地氣，像你家旁邊的練習場類型的球場。很多球場的難度真的很練習場，球道寬平，沒有水池、樹林就點綴一下，讓畫面漂亮看起來美一點。

在這裡打球可以練球技和把每一支球桿的特性給發揮。球場的容錯高，最多就是掉球，球亂飛就是開著球車到處去找。對一般球友來說是佛心。而且球車費用是內含在打球裡，性價比非常高。相對在美國北部打球，球車要另外計費，如果你沒有和朋友一起打，一個人打的費用瞬間翻倍。所以達拉斯打球是很悠閒也平價。

我以前也有在加州打過球，風格和德州差不多。費用也是差不多。當然也有私人的country club，不過我連公共球場都沒有打滿、打爽，去打私人球場的動力就沒有太大。而且達拉斯這邊的球場，平日打球人不多。就算有約時間，到球場，隨時都可以開打，很隨性。不過幾個比較有管理和制度的球場，就會要求準時看球或併組打。

這邊的公共球場也都可以買會員，價格會比較優惠，訂場也容易。我覺得有會員，就是可以打練習場免費罷了。其他也沒有什麼好康。不過在達拉斯，基本就直接下場打，練球就直接pass了。球場的球道相對台灣那種山地球場的窄和刁鑽，如果沒有動作熱了，一定就去找林小姐。加上球友的水平也不會太高，打球比較散，壓力也比較小。

i have been playing golf in Dallas area for over 6 months. Today I am going to talk about my experience and thoughts regarding golfing in Dallas. Basically Dallas is the third largest city in Texas and located in north of Texas. The headquarter of PGA is located in Frisco, north of Dallas city and Bryson DeChambeau is living Plano area. My friend was in driving range and saw him to play and take the videos.

I have played over 20 golf courses in Dallas area. Generally speaking the golf course style is similar without big difference. It's good for golfers to build your skills and experiences to get better level, since a number of golf courses provide wide range of fairway and less bunkers/water. For me it's like driving range.

On the other hand, the challenge is limited and hard to skill up on certain of abilities. The other advantage is the cost is very friendly. The cart fee is on the green fee as well unlike the cost is high in north of east coast. I can only say it's a golfing paradise that you can enjoy your time to relax and build your swing.

The summer, you are able to see lots of kids, and seniors jumping into the field. You can get the swing lessons on driving range or pro shops easily. Of course, the temperature is high during the summer but it's able to play golf all seasons in Dallas. That's why golfing in Dallas is very comfortable and relax.

Golfers are living the golf course or nearby the course, sometimes they just play in the middle of the 18 holes then go straight to his house. Golfing is like go to the gym or park to enjoy a time. You would not feel it's a work or thing to complete. That's why golfers in Texas is very friendly and relax!

我打的感覺，就是這裡的打球壓力一點也沒有，可以快打、走路、和朋友喇賽爽打，很輕鬆的高爾夫。如果你喜歡球隊打球的氣氛，這裡也有華人球隊，每個月都有球聚。在群組裡隨便也有個50、60個球友月賽的人數球敘。當然有時會和熟的台灣在地球友球敘。這樣比較能交流、喇賽。球隊的例賽，就像大拜拜一樣。打氣氛，很難享受高爾夫的個人時間。

再說到這裡買球桿和高爾夫的配件等產品，我覺得比較方便和多樣。球桿很少有折扣，但配件選擇多。尤其服飾、鞋子、球袋...可以買滿、買爆。一些大品牌的outlet都會有高爾夫用品專區，價格上也有優惠。亞洲球友會覺得很好逛，因為價廉物美。一般來說，球桿我不會在平時購買，都是在購物季才會下手。當季品，都是官方的統一價。沒有什麼好康可以撈。

簡單來說，這裡就是高爾夫天堂。到處都可以找到球場和練習場。也有很多高爾夫連鎖店可以逛。球桿和台灣的價格差不多，但好處是可以試不少球桿，打到你手酸。對於想安排海外打球的球友們或球隊，都是不錯的考慮地點。加上，物價上也沒有加州或西岸的高，也沒有北邊的貴。算是和佛羅里達一樣的打球天堂。

很多住北邊的人都會在南邊州買房，天冷的時候就下來住和打球。而且這裡的人也相對友善。比起北邊的撲克臉或沒有耐心要好太多。所以對外人來說，在達拉斯打球會比較舒服和沒壓力。只是，夏天真的很熱，過了8點後，如果沒有風，就會熱悶。打球會很不舒服。過了9月後就比較好。

整體來說，我喜歡達拉斯的城市和人文氛圍。人口密度也不高。住起來，有點距離，但人和人交流卻很舒服友善。打球也好或高爾夫物品上也不貴。所以我在這裡是一有休假就去打球。也交到一些球伴來喇賽、打球。以後應該會固定下來打球，或是等孩子上大學就搬下來住。這樣就可以打到爽！

Golfing in Texas is very relax without stress particularly in weekdays. You can find good golfers who are willing to share and chat with you. The golfers in here are pure golfing and there are Chinese golf groups that you can join to play with local golfers. I join one group that has monthly game with over 50 golfers to play. If you like to play people, that's a good solution to meet more golfers.

Regarding the purchasing of golf equipments and accessories, there are many golf related chain stores such as Dicks sporting goods, PGA superstore and golf Galaxy that you can check. The golf clubs are regularly prices, I used to purchase during the holiday seasons for discounts. The good thing is there are tons of equipment and accessory to select.

Comparing to the north east states, the outlets of major sport brands are carrying more golf clothing, shoes and accessories. That's where you can buy with discounts for golf stuff. Of course, there are many driving ranges with pro shops to check. If you do not bring things or gears, you can grab it from pro shops to play.

In short, Texas is a good golf place and the cost of playing golf and living are less than west coast and north east states. That's why a number of American who live in north and west have the houses in Texas and they will stay or have the vacation in south such as Florida, and Texas during the winter.

You can play golf for the whole year long but the summer temperature is high, after September, the weather should be the best for golfing. I like Plano since people are friendly with the quality of living style. The cost is reasonable without high pricing. Once my kids go to the college, i will move down to Plano for my retirement. It's golf paradise!
