訂製桿的硬道理：好打、高容錯、失誤了，球還活著！

很多球友對個人化訂製球桿有迷思或錯誤的想法，就是要遠或是要與眾不同。我個人和球友在訂製過程裡，會給予比較正確的觀念。球桿只要是以你為基礎去設定和依據個人需求，桿子就可以達到你要的目標和任務。所以遠是應該會有的結果，但訂製桿的核心，遠比要遠和與眾不同還要多。這也是我今天要說的重點！

對我來說，訂製桿就是要讓你拿在手上就有無窮的信心，可以把它發揮到最好。不會有二心或不確定性。甚至會害怕打不好等狀況。在這樣的基礎下，要打遠自然是垂手可得。而更重要的任務在於，當你沒有打到甜蜜點或動作稍微有一點失誤下，桿子是否還可以讓你把球放在場內？因為人不是機器，不可能每一球都可以打的精準，所以失誤是正常，而桿子要能為你把傷害壓到最小。

我在和球友的訂製測試裡，球友會帶上自己的球桿來比較和我提供的測試桿，而我也發現到球友的球桿不是不好，有時候以距離來說，也和我的測試桿不相上下。但有一個最大的問題就是，我的桿子穩定性要壓倒性的好。要知道球友和我測試時，是沒有用過我的桿子，在完全沒有準備和使用經驗下，可以把我的測試桿發揮的順暢，這是不容易的事。這就是桿子的易打能力！

以我的話來說，就是適合他的揮桿動作。所以可以打的好和穩定。距離也都可以在一個範圍內。打的要比他自己的桿子穩定多了。就算沒有打到甜蜜點，我的桿子的距離效果，也比他的現役球桿要遠。另外就是他的桿子好壞非常明顯。也就是好的話，距離沒話說，但比例比較低，而且非甜蜜點的距離喪失比較大。

所以這樣的桿子一旦沒有打好，就很容易會掉球或出界。這也是一般球友最討厭的地方。而這就是訂製桿和你自己從網路或球具店買的桿子的最大差異。訂製桿是有明確訴求和功能性。對我來說，什麼桿子都需要把穩定性、易打性和失擊影響給壓到最小。這樣才能讓球友產生信心來。不是距離是唯一！

What is key for personal golf club? Most golfers think the distance is key or differentiation, for me the keys of the customization of golf club are consistency, accuracy and misshot damage control. If you go for the custom golf club, it's based on your personal requirements and needs. Therefore, the distance of course needs to be good but there are more things important than distance.

I always tell golfer who seeks for the custom golf club that the confidence of the club is the core! When you grip this driver, iron or putter, you won't have misshot idea or hesitation to play. Since you know this club is able to help you deliver what you want and even you don't strike on the sweet spot, the damage of misshot is still under the controlled.

We are not the machine that can strike the sweet spot of the club face 100% accurate in each swing. As a result, if the club can not allow you control the misshot damage, you will be afraid of playing it. When I have the fitting test with the golfers, they bring their own and current golf clubs to compare my demo clubs. The biggest differentiations are consistency, control and misshot damage.

The golfers do not play my demo clubs before and the first time to use it with their own swing and body sensation with the better results. To me, that's the right club for them to play with some adjustments. The obvious advantage of my demo club is the consistency and easy to play. I pick the right demo clubs with the specifications for golfers to feel the differentiations then they can play it to see the results directly.

The demo clubs delivers very consistent results on distance, trajectory and feel. Comparing their own club, it's up and down on the results. If they strike on the sweet spot, the distance is good but off the sweet spot and misshot, the results are unpredictable. That's why you can play it well since your clubs are not giving you the right results and consistency. Once you have bad shot, your confidence is crashed.

為什麼我的桿子可以這樣好打和穩定？因為從選擇的桿頭、桿身和握把都是有講究。也是有一定實力來承受使用者的速度和力量。同時必須要讓球友感覺是可控和好打的優勢，這樣才能把最好的距離效果給體現出來。而不是用最貴的桿頭、最火的桿身和握把裝起來就是最好、最遠的桿子。桿子的好壞、性能和操控和桿子的價格沒有正比關係。

這也是球具訂製這個領域的深度。當要選擇什麼樣的零件時就牽涉到對產品的瞭解深度、使用經驗和不同組合的效能表現等。接下來，需要對使用者本身的體型、能力和動作進行分享，才能設定適合的規格，讓使用者來發揮這些零組件的效能。這裡頭需要對物理、機械、材料和人體力學的瞭解和分析。加上一定的經驗下才能有一個專業的火候。不然我光demo球桿就幾十種，就可以試不完。最多3種桿子就是球友測試的極限了。

當一個人用一支之前都沒有用過的桿子，而且打起來比用自己的桿子還要順手和效果到位。什麼都不需要說了，這就是適合你的桿子。因為你的身體都還沒有時間去瞭解和適應它，用你自己最純和最真的動作去打，都可以如魚得水，同時就算沒有打到甜蜜點，一樣不會歪太多或距離沒有喪失太多。那你還想什麼？你覺得你可以到球具店或網路上去淘到這樣順手和好用的桿子嗎？

我的桿子的飛行軌跡都是非常穩定，不會忽高忽低、忽左忽右的亂飛。這就是桿子本身的強度和設定到位，才能讓結果如此的穩定。而大家還忘記一個最大的因素，就是為什麼你打起來都可以打的好和穩定？你的桿子可以這樣的容易發揮嗎？比較自己的桿子，打不好的比例超過5成，那為什麼打我的桿子可以有超過5成的直球或低偏差率？

原因在於選擇適合的桿頭規格、適合的桿身規格和握把，然後把這三樣零件，組合在一個最適合你發揮的長度和重量感上。所以你可以輕鬆自如的打出不錯的球路。就算沒有打好也不會讓你大傷。如果你的瞄準或吃球方向就是很歪的話，桿子不是萬能，球也沒有裝導航。所以好桿子在於一個整體的表現，它需要思考的細節非常多。如果試到一支讓你可以有信心的桿子，就不需要去想了，它就是你的真命天子了！

Why my demo clubs are able to deliver the consistency and easy to play features? It's all about the details such as the club head, shaft and grip. When you select these parts, it's not just picking the most cutting edge technology, latest model and coolest material. Each club needs to have outstanding features, missions and profile then it can serve certain golf group with specific swing style.

The clubfitter needs to understand the heads, shafts and grips vertically with limited brands and products in order to build the knowledge and experience. Furthermore, to analyze the golfers's swing profile, body strongness and swing skills then it's able to build the right specification for the golf club. It's involved in various fields and domain knowledges such as dynamics, material, mechanical engineering, and body dynamics.

I have lots of demo clubs for golfers to try out but the limitation of a golfer to try the demo is 3 clubs. If it's over 3 demo clubs to try out, golfers are unable to identify and feel the differentiations on each demo. That's why picking the right demo is key for golfers to know the differentiations of the clubs and find out the right personal golf club with the right specification.

I am not saying the custom golf club can provide you the better results in each shot, but it's easy for you to handle, and control the club then strike the golf ball. If you hit it off the target, it's not the fault from the golf club. When you play your own specification golf clubs, you know how you can do and feel better confident to swing.

A good custom golf club needs to consider a number of the issues, details and factors in order to accomplish the golfer's missions and target. More importantly the custom golf clubs are not really related with the cost that means the expensive custom clubs are not equal to the better results or longer distance. The high end aftermarket shafts and wood heads are featuring more functions, details and advantages.
