高爾夫的自助、半自助和全服務！

我到很多不同地區和國家打過球。我喜歡去打不同球場的挑戰和樂趣。因為到過不同球場，也感受到不同國家對高爾夫的服務是有差別。這當中也包含你的球具、配件這些產品的差異性。這也是我今天想要討論和分享的重點。而我自己喜歡什麼呢？當然可以掌握在自己手上是最好的高爾夫。這樣打好、打壞都是自己。這才是高爾夫！

首先我自己定義高爾夫何謂自助、半自助和全服務？我認為不只打球有分自助、半自助和全服務。球具、配件的產品，也是有因應你的地區和國家而有所不同。以台灣和中國來說，基本上就是以全服務為主。當然有少數球場是可以開放半自助和自助打球，但非常有限。自助當然就是你自己背球袋打。半自助是，球場提供球車或推車給你租用。這當中最大的差別在於這些工具是你自己的、還是別人提供？

全服務就是有球僮，做所有打球的事宜。日本、東南亞、歐洲和美加等地，都是以自助和半自助的高爾夫為主。一些私人俱樂部是有全服務。我到過泰國、馬來西亞打過球，也是打自助球場。感覺都差不多。租球車，帶自己球桿。歐洲也是如此。美國就不多說。就是自助高爾夫的樂園。你要什麼高爾夫都是掌握在你自己身上。

打球這部分我就不多說，而球具和其他相關的配件上，就可以來聊一下。在全服務的地區裡，球具和其他相關的配件都會比較以好看、個人化為主。因為你下場不需要考慮自己背球袋，或不需要以實際需求為主。你看球袋，很多好看的tour bag/選手球袋，很多球友就會考慮。但在自助型的區域，球袋的選擇就偏務實和輕量化為主。

再說到球桿，在全服務地區裡，球桿的設定和需求都會比較以個人化和美化/為主。說白的就是要屌爆！不求自己可以用的好，但求讓人看了就羨慕的工具！如好看的刀背和半凹背，日系木桿類的深桿面等。訂製球桿以做到好、做到每一個細節的服務。但價格就相對個人化！相對於自助化的地區，球桿的選擇當然也多元，但易打和容錯高的產品更容易讓多數球友按下購買鍵！

I have been playing golf in various countries and different golf courses, it's fun and challenge! I also see and feel different places having various service types for golfers to enjoy the golf. That's the thing I would like to discuss and share with my experience in the places for golf serviceability. The key of the golf for me is to control by myself instead of someone deciding to me.

In terms of the golf services, I divide into three types: full service, half service and self service. It's easy to understand for playing golf in golf course since you are able to know the golf course offers the service such as caddie or your own service. You can rent the golf cart to complete the 18 holes with your own or carry your bag through 18 holes. It's totally up to you!

In Asia, Taiwan, and mainland China are full service with caddie to serve in golf course, you can't rent the golf cart or carrying your own bag to play. That's something you need to know if you play these countries. How about the golf clubs and accessories? Yes, that's a good question! Of course it has totally different service solutions in various countries and places.

Again in Asia, most of the golf clubs and golf accessories are very personalized. It's unlike America and Europe, we purchase standardized goods with good prices. Even though the clubmaking, we are not having personalized service. Of course, if you go to clubfitting/clubmaking shops, you are able to get the personal service based on your requirement and demands.

In Asia, if you would like to have personal and customized golf clubs, it's full service with your personal requirements and preferences. You can choose a number of brands, products and combinations. There are many Japan small brands with cute designs and handcraft products. It's not standardized stuff that can get from the chain stores. It's personal for your golf!

訂製這塊，在歐美，很多的自組球桿的工具，設備都是垂手可得。因為這些地區的工錢貴，很多簡單的工作活，都是自己撿起來做。像球桿組成、握把更換等，很多球友都會自己動手來做。當然做工的細節和技術就素人等級。同時歐美的網路平台更多元，很多球友會傾向買二手球具或配件。歐美不會像亞洲人那樣在乎面子，自己用的爽，誰在乎是幾手或品牌。

更重要是歐美不少配件和產品設計都很優，價格也友善！注意，對歐美民眾是友善，不是對亞洲民眾友善。因為兩邊薪水是有差距。簡單說，自助地區的產品更會著重在好用和性價比。全服務的地區就以限量、爽和屌到讓人想打人的程度！這是很大的差異，也代表族群的喜好。

我自己觀察不同地區的球友們，他們球袋、球桿、配件等裝備。真的有差！歐美的球友在球袋、球具和配件就是普通一般到不行。但一些個人裝備就比較豐富多元，比如藍芽speaker、測距離器、推車、保溫袋...對於台灣、中國的球友，球桿和配件就是整個閃亮，一不留神就被球友的什麼限量、最新款的球桿、球袋或配件給打到。

有時候覺得很一般的桿子，朋友說這是哪個大神或日本限量出的屌貨。瞬間很無言！對於如何把球打好，或對球桿一些基礎和觀念就完全沒興趣。而且歐美球友對於專業的尊重是沒話說，不會三不五時給你酸言和垃圾話。對於懂的人或技師，會尊重專業。所以地區差異對於球友的想法、價值觀和購買需求是有很大不同。

在歐美打球比較像對自己的要求。作為一個運動健身的活動，也不是要作為社交或生意的工具。所以自助服務在歐美是生活一部分。而任何可以讓自己提升的工具、配件和作法，大家都會想去瞭解和學習。對於很高檔的球具或產品，只有少部分人會去追求。就算你有一些日系球具，多數人也不懂，也不會覺得更好用。選擇你想要的高爾夫比什麼都重要，不是嗎！

In terms of clubmaking, there are tons of accessories, tools and equipments you can purchase to do by your own. Since the labor fee is not cheap at all in the north America and Europe, it's easy to pick up the works for changing the grips and reshaft. Of course, they are not professional and the work quality is not as good as clubmakers.

Moreover, the used golf clubs and used golf accessories are very common and exchange through online platforms such as ebay and Amazon. The key is to get something good for myself to play instead of getting something luxury or limited for demonstrating your peers with the reputation. The Asian golfers are not like that!

They are always looking for something special design, limited volume, and rare models/versions. They may not play it but they like to show off their peers for the ability and richness. They buy golf goods with collectable and playable. It's unlike American golfers to get things for their play and improvement.

Since American golfers are more like to get things for their own usage and the works are self service for golf courses and golf clubs. They have fun from it and the goods are very practical and useful compared with Asian golfers. That's why the Asian golfers can't play well since they spend the money on the wrong goods.

There is no exact right or wrong on the goods purchases or the services you like to have, the key is to let you have fun from it. I like the American golf style that is to enjoy golf in outdoor for relax instead of competing with peers in golf clubs and accessories. Making golf becomes part of your life is what I am doing!
