兩套鐵桿邏輯！

現在球桿進步神速，木桿類有很多功能可以自行去設定和調整。比如調角度、換不同桿身和桿頭重量調整。這些對不管技師或球友都是方便和可以依據個人需求進行改善。但鐵桿到目前為止就還沒有落實這個技術。所以鐵桿還是和幾十年前一樣沒有變化。

但目前的天氣變化太大。同時球場的距離也拉長，對於球桿的特性，需要依據這些不同需求和挑戰來進行相對調整。鐵桿要如何做呢？我是以兩套鐵桿邏輯來面對。當然我不只兩套鐵桿可以去調整和使用。對於一般球友來說，具備兩套鐵桿你才能去做些改變和調整。

首先，我先說一個基本觀念，球桿必須要有明顯特性。每一支桿子都要讓你可以毫不猶豫就可以選擇和決定去使用。如果當你在決定要使用哪一支桿子是可以有2支以上的選擇那就對你有困惑和選擇。這也是我常和我的訂製球桿朋友說，桿子如果沒有明確的特性和功能，就沒有訂製的必要。

如果建立每一支桿子獨有的特性和功能？當你選擇桿頭、桿身和握把是就是一支桿子的DNA。桿頭特性是什麼？桿身得特性功能是什麼、握把得導向是什麼？這些東西建立起來就是一支桿子得完整特性。也是在你思考要如何進攻是，可以從你的腦子裡跳出來得結果。

因為鐵桿無法像木桿有轉接頭，可以換裝不同特性桿身來改變球桿特性。所以這就需要建立兩組不同鐵桿特性來面對不同需求和球場挑戰。一般來說，我會建議一套走性能、好打為主得鐵桿，另一套走操控、手感為主。

Nowadays the golf clubs have been making outstanding progress, the woods, there are many features and functions that golfers can adjust by themselves such as loft, reshaft and weights. These advantages allow golfers or clubmakers to do the adjustment based on personal demands. However, the irons and putters still have nothing changed at all.

We are facing weather seriously changing and we need to adjust the golf club specification to deal with the challenges. How can we do the adjustment for the irons? I am afraid we have no solution for irons with personal adjustment. Therefore, we need to have two sets of irons to deal with the challenges.

Before we jump into the two set iron idea, we need to know one simple idea for the golf club, the profile of the golf club is the key. With the golf club profile, we can quickly pick up the right golf club without hesitation. Your golf clubs must have clear profile and differentiation for playing. If your golf club has no profile, you will have the difficulty to select the right club during the play.

To build up the golf club profile is consisted of golf club head, shaft and grip. The golf club head has its own features, characteristic and advantages. It's the same as golf shafts and grips. When we build the golf club, these are the total solutions for a golf club as the profile.

Irons have no adjustment like woods, we can only build two sets of the irons to have multiple features. I would suggest one set of irons needs to be performance driven, forgiving and easy to play. The other set should be focusing on control, good feedback and accuracy. With these two sets you are covering most of usage and demands for irons.

看到這裡應該一些球友已經瞭解我如何選擇這兩套桿子得產品特性了。不可諱言，不少球友對日本鍛造桿頭有情結。必須要用鍛造桿子，它的手感其實是它的亮點，但你在距離和易打上就是一個副作用。當你的年紀越大，距離問題就越嚴重。鍛造鐵桿會讓我沒有裡子。

所以我會建議另一套鐵桿可以設定走性能導向，選擇桿頭易打性高和性能為主的特性。比如凹背和2片式桿頭設計。同時在配合高碳布碳纖維桿身，把距離和易打拉到破表。這樣對於一些需要距離的球場或夏天炎熱得狀況，可以輕鬆去面對。

我個人的做法是，我只有短鐵9～P和挖起桿會是用操控和穩定為主的鋼管桿身。因為距離越短，要求準度更高。而這些桿子不需要去衝距離，以穩定性和抗失擊為使用訴求。而我的中和長鐵就是碳纖維和2片式的性能和距離來使用。

所以說我基本上是利用2套鐵桿來進行使用的混搭。因為目前鐵桿無法只購買我要的號數。只能購買兩套不同特性和品牌來進行混合使用。個人對於不同球桿有使用的需求和功能。我可以得到我希望的結果和對結果可以提升到最好。所以中、長鐵是性能和易打桿子，短桿和挖起桿就以操控和精準為主。

現在的時代是講究效率和結果。你要得到你期待的結果，往往需要去調配不同的產品組合。利用對的工具，來協助你達到你要的結果是最省事和有效率的方法。把以前一組桿子的觀念要適時改變。如果你要好結果和效率，這或許是一個方法給你參考！

Now you know why I bring the two iron sets idea for golfers. By using each iron set's advantage and profile to fit your play for better results and performance. It's the best way and efficiency for average golfers to leverage your irons. It's the time to get rid of one iron set idea.

Particularly many Asian golfers have the Made in Japan forge irons image. Japan forged irons are good in feedback with soft feel but the distance is not as good as cavity, it's not forgiving as well. This is the key issues for golfers to consider. For me, I use cavity or half cavity forged heads to get more distance and forgiving.

With my iron play, I mixed up two iron sets to play for best result and consistency. I play mid and long irons with graphite shafts for best distance and forgiving. My short irons are forged with steel shaft for accuracy and control. I can deal with all kinds of challenges in various golfer courses.

Currently we can not just get the iron heads we want from the market. Therefore, we have to buy 2 sets of irons for mixed up to play. By selecting the right irons we are able to play for the best results. Of course, it costs you more money but it certainly the best way to help you work out the problems for irons.

You need to think the productivity and efficiency for playing golf. One set of iron is not enough for you to deal with the challenge and swing issues. The two iron sets are the solution you can consider. Most golfers have difficult on mid and long irons, if we can play something easy and better performance for mid and long irons, we will have positive results without problem.
