沒有球具訂製服務就不是球具店了！

從2015年開始，越來越多的專門球具訂製店在美國開設，比如Cool Clubs, Club Champion, Hot stix golf, Golftec..當然賠錢的生意沒人做，這些球具訂製就是有利可圖，所以有這麼多的連鎖球具訂製店會相繼投入。而現在連一些運動連鎖店也開始投入到球具訂製這塊的市場，要搶奪球具訂製的大餅。

先說一下，球具訂製的市場狀況。其實球具訂製不是這7、8年才有，只是從2015年後，市售球桿的銷售從2013、2014巔峰開始掉下來，而這時候的球桿訂製風潮開始火起來。因為從2015年開始球具訂製的部分的市場成長和銷售就不斷衝高。這是從和我熟的桿身廠商所得到的資料。

只是以前習慣買套桿的人，逐漸投入到球具訂製的市場來購買球桿。一來嚐鮮，也因為有功效和得到更好的產品，才會越來越多的美國球友投入到球具訂製市場來。這也是為什麼，會有很多的球具訂製連鎖店出來。而現在就我和一些在運動連鎖店的朋友聊天也得知他們也開始投入這部分的市場。

像PGA tour superstore這類的連鎖高爾夫球具店，也有球具訂製的服務。室內的球桿測試/clubfitting的服務。有很多的桿身和各品牌的桿頭來測試和觀察擊球模擬器的數據。而我最近到Dick‘s Sporting Goods的店，也看到室內的球具測試室/Clubfitting room。也說明這個大餅讓其他連鎖店都想要來爭食！

目前在美國的球具訂製服務基本都是標準化流程了。就是提供很多不同的桿身、桿頭在球具模擬室裡，進行測試和分析。然後再依據數據來推薦產品組合。而很多的連鎖店本身，是沒有組裝室來進行訂單的產品組裝工作。那這部分的活誰做？還是外包？

Since I chat with some of the golf shaft makers to realize this differentiation and trend. The custom golf club becomes more popular in nowadays golf club purchasing. Golfers are able to get more good experience of purchasing the golf club with their personal swing profile and the golf club recommendation. That's the advantages from custom golf club shops.

Now like PGA tour superstore golf chain store has the custom fitting room for golfers to build its own golf clubs. The indoor clubfitting room equips with launch monitor to get the personal swing data and various golf club combinations results. With scientific data and professional clubfitter golfers experience more professional and useful services through the purchase.

The custom golf club has become the standardization with a series of fitting procedure and equipments. That's why more and more sports chain stores are jumping into this field. They can get the software and hardware ready and hire the clubfitter to serve the golfers. However, the experienced clubfitters are hard to find. You are unable to get vertical information and knowledge through it,

這些沒有自己的球具組裝部門的連鎖店，基本上就是把訂單投到大廠的訂製部門去。只有做規格的開設和產品的決定。所以還是大廠增加了銷售。他們賺球桿的銷售費。當然客人還是付給連鎖店整個訂製的費用。而連鎖店給大廠是另一個價格。

而在產品的選擇上也比較有限。基本沒有像在日本或台灣的工坊裡那麼多的產品選擇。也是美系產品為主。當然日系的幾個主流品牌桿身是基本標配，但產品的選擇不多，同時也是以美國市場的產品為主。一些日系日規產品就沒有或少見。但目前的訂製交貨時間都在1個月以上，一些產品要等2個月是正常。

再說到球具訂製的費用，基本上這邊的費用和台灣差不多或要貴一些。因為價格都是明碼價，沒有折扣。而且一支driver就是木桿價格加上up charge/升級的桿身、握把費用。所以至少都是700美元起跳。其實在台灣也是一樣。因為driver價格就15000上下，再加上桿身7000～10000多都有。所以也要2萬多一支。

所以在美國越來越多的球友對球桿訂製是正面態度。而也認為有合用的桿子，可以打個5～7年時間，投資比較高的費用也算值得。但我個人認為，桿子通常在打了2或3年就開始衰退了。基本上木桿撐不到5年。鐵桿差不多6～7年時間。常打的中鐵和短鐵就3-4年就桿身疲乏了。

尤其桿子適合的話，更容易打衰退。就我身邊找我做桿子的朋友來說，3年左右就會來重新配置新的桿子了。因為適合的桿子很容易打軟。太順手也會打的多。所以使用越頻繁，性能的衰退就更明顯和快速。使用者用慣了，都知道距離多少，一旦性能衰退，距離就可以發現差異。只差在衰退到什麼距離，才會去換新桿子？

訂製桿的服務確實可以讓球友提升成績和表現。這也是它的目的和任務。但它也需要一定的費用，2手的訂製桿不能算訂製桿，因為它不是以你為設定的基礎。這是潮流也是無可避免。好好找資料研究和充實自己，再找專業的技師去討論和配置你的桿子吧！

I would say it depends on the clubfitter's expertise and experience.

Generally the custom golf clubs from major golf club brands are not many selections on shafts and grips. If you would like to have specific shafts or grips, it may not be available from the list. That's the shortage. Particularly some Japanese version shafts are not offering to American market.

Some golfers think with custom golf clubs, it can use for longer time, but in fact, it's not. actually the custom golf clubs can be easier and fast to see the break out. Since the golf clubs are built and based on your personal swing and body profile, it will be easy for you to play and swing. With that advantage, you can swing better and faster. Therefore, the golf clubs see the break out faster.

You certainly can feel the distance decreasing, it's only the matter of time you would like to get the new one for better performance. Once you have good custom golf clubs, you are unable to go back to play retail off the rock stuff. Since you can feel and use the differentiations. The shortage is the cost is not cheap.
