你用過哪一款driver是讓你讚不絕口？

我想大家心中可能有讓你愛不釋手的一款木桿，也因為有這樣的桿子，會激起你對球桿的極致追求動機。所以你會有一種想法或追求：是不是下一支driver會比現在要更好？或是我想要再買一支和現在用得順手的driver。人都是一個不斷追求好東西和好感覺的動物。這是會上癮的，至少我個人是這樣。

先說我個人用過不錯的木桿。Titleist 905R! 這款木桿是2005年Titleist的新款木桿。460cc尺寸，那時候對於大尺寸的木桿開始逐漸發酵。上一代的983就是400cc的尺寸，也是一款經典款式，所以延伸到905算是無接縫的延續。但下一代的907就沒有905的驚艷了。

但延續907之後的910卻是驚艷之作！因為910是開啟Titlest木桿有可調整角度的連結器設計，雖然比起Taylormade要更晚，但Titlest的風格就是不趕第一，但產品的質量是極品。所以對我來說，Titleist 905R和910是我心中最愛的極品木桿產品。

我從2001年開始打球，而一開始對球桿沒有什麼興趣，覺得把動作練好比較重要。但動作稍有小成後，就起心動念買不同的球桿。那時候買不少球桿，就是想知道不同品牌的產品的差異和優勢。想買一支順手的桿子來用，而後面就請美國友人買第一支tour issue/選手用的Titleist 905木桿。從此走上不歸路！

因為905R這隻是tour issue，當年的tour issue不像現在的tour issue都是一樣的大量生產，然後從中裡挑選規格適合來給選手使用。那時候的tour issues的桿頭很多是另外小量生產給選手來用，所以材質和規格的精密度要優於一般大量生產的桿頭。所以花多一點錢是值得。至少我的905R是用的非常好。

I believe everyone has your best driver in your mind. You might use that in the past with great feel, excellent control and outstanding performance. That's why it's in your mind without hesitation. Because of that, it pushes you to find next ideal driver based on the experience and features you got in the past.

Since people are always seeking for something good and to find the best driver is always a mission for golfers. For me, my ideal driver in the past was Titleist 905R, that was released in 2005 with 460cc size. Before that driver, Titleist has 983 driver with great sales, good feedback from the market and excellent performance to the golfers. 905R is the best driver size to 460cc in Titleist and that drives me to get it.

Although Titleist 910 is another great driver in my mind but 905R is the one that inspires me to jump in the custom golf club field and look for something better than 905R. The 905R driver I bought was tour issue model that came with advanced tour shaft from Fujikura. That shaft is tip soft design that feedbacks soft and smooth.

When I played that driver, I was amazing how the tour issue driver could have such smooth feedback without stiff and harsh in downswing. I did purchases other tour issue drivers but only this 905R could give me the best result, feedback and control. That's why I was in love with the 905R!

In the past, the tour issue driver heads were produced separately with better material and special specification for tour players. Unlike currently it's selected from mass production to fit tour players' demands and requirements. It's worth to get it with special production with better quality and material even though it costs more money.

更重要的是它配置Fujikura的after market 桿身也是當時少見的款式。那桿身的特性是前端比較軟，所以打起來非常的舒服。相較於尤其的tour issues桿身配置的桿身特性都比較剛硬特性是比較有人性和適合凡夫俗子的我來用。雖然那時候我已經在玩一些after market的桿身但因為這隻桿子也讓我進入球桿訂制的領域和工作。

因為它給我一個震撼；就是為什麼一支球桿可以如此不一樣，打的結果，動作失誤下，和桿身/桿頭的回饋可以如此的好與穩定！而我手邊不少球桿，包含Taylormade和Callaway等產品也沒有那樣的結果。所以起心動念的投入球桿訂制去發掘和瞭解其中的源由。

所以Titleist 905R給我的不是一支球桿的衝擊，而是讓我瞭解球桿可以不一樣，也可以適合你來發揮。就算打不好，動作失誤下，結果也沒有太差。那是我不過是一個球齡不到5年的新手，用起905R卻倍感信心！就算是一般球友也可以擁有適合自己的桿子。那隻球桿可以說誤打誤撞的適合我。

當然我也有去試其他市售的905R木桿，卻沒有一支像我的905R那樣的結果和回饋。905R木桿的設計和桿面都一樣下，手感和其他對手的木桿來說是相對好，但和我的905R就完全不是同一個級別。所以那時候花比起一般driver要貴一倍的價格買下的905R，給我的東西卻是數十數百倍的回饋和影響。

所以對我來說，905R不是一支球桿而已，也是啟蒙我進入高爾夫球桿領域的引導師。藉由這隻球桿，我可以一直在球桿的產品與訂制上發掘新知，也和結交到不少高爾夫同好。不會感到無聊和終點。而你是否有一支driver，讓你無法忘記和一直想再得到一支和之前那隻driver一樣的感覺和結果？分享你的故事吧！

In that time, I have been playing other after market shafts and non of the shafts can have similar feedback like this 905R driver's Fujikura shaft. I did buy other tour issue Taylormade and Callaway drivers to compare but the 905R is the best with all my collection in that time. In order to know why a driver can become totally differently, I jump into the clubmaking field to find the answer.

I was asking myself: how come this driver can be so differently? Even though my swing has the mistake but the driver can cover that out and keep up the result nicely. It's a big impact to me as I never have had a driver like that. My golf experience was less than 5 years and this driver gave me total different result and feedback. I can only say it's a lucky match.

I did try other retail 905R driver to compare, but non of the retail 905R is able to compete with my tour issue 905R. I also let my friends try it out and they all comment positively. I spent double to the cost to get the tour issue 905R but it gave me much more than what I paid for. Comparing other tour issue driver I bought in that time, this investment is the best in my golf life.

Honestly speaking, this driver has given me lots of thoughts, questions and intensions. I keep asking myself why there is a driver like that? Can I get another one like this driver? Or are there other tour issue drivers similar like this driver? This is my story for the best driver I have ever had and how about you?
