Ping算是主流品牌裡比較堅持走直接的風格和訂製路線。 對於產品的技術接受度就會比其他品牌的產品要更晚。 所以目前的Ping 木桿類別裡，還是走傳統全鈦合金或不鏽鋼的材質。還沒有複合式的材質在木桿產品上。當然不見得複合式材質的桿頭就比較好或打的遠。每一家廠牌的產品都有自己的核心技術，而它維持現有的技術在一個好的程度上。不會追逐潮流和炒短線！

G410 Plus尺寸為455cc，也算快做到極限。這次的16g重量塊可以更換位置，算是它的亮點。相較於其他品牌都已經做移動滑塊設計，而它採用固定式選擇位置。 Ping之前的木桿都有配重螺絲但都是固定位置，無法調整桿頭重心的重量塊可以拆卸，無更換位置設計。所以這次有這個功能也要給它個讚！根據原廠的說法，16g的螺絲更換位置可以改變桿頭重心約2.5mm距離。

對於左右曲球有10碼的幅度範圍。所以你可以調整重量塊在Draw，Fade 或center不同的位置。依據你動作的特性去設定。這類的功能我通常是敬謝不敏！ 因為打直是基本，如果都打不直，還一直在調整螺絲就真的無法固定動作的問題或找出打不直的原因。

所以桿頭功能多不見得對一般球友有幫助，有時會讓人模糊打球的焦點。另外這次的G410 Plus的亮點在於桿身的連接器可以有桿子的lie angle/仰角，桿面角度和桿面開關的設定功能。有更多的角度調整範圍，而且它的連接器重量才6g和TM的連接器都一樣重。這對桿頭的重量影響就相對有限。也是市面的連接器重量比較輕的。

重點在這次的連接器和之前的Ping連接器是不能適用。所以你如果買G410 plus木桿，想用之前的Ping 桿身就無法直接拿來裝。其實在其他品牌的木桿桿頭也是有類似狀況。所以只能把桿身退下來，再裝G410 Plus的連接器。目前市面上或網路都有賣一些副牌的連接器。 取得不會太困難，但質量是關鍵。如果質量不好，可能鎖不起來或容易鬆脫等狀況。

其他的亮點在它上蓋的設計是Ping的獨特風格。 桿面是鍛造的鈦合金。只能說Ping的產品亮點沒有其他品牌的突出，它就是走自己的風格和市場。 不是說亮點或產品功能多就比較好或更遠，沒有實際裝起來用是很難去評論。 從之前的G25木桿後就沒有再用Ping的產品。這次想看看Ping在這些年來的變化和產品進步的幅度？

Ping is the custom golf club brand and allow golfers to order personal clubs for individual requirements. Ping is also the few of golf brands that do not take composite with carbon fiber material into the woods. It doesn't mean to embrace various materials in woods' design is good, but in terms of technology adapting, Ping is not aggressive as other peers. On the other hand, they stick on what they good at without chasing the short term trend.

Ping G410 Plus is the product for 2019 with 455cc size and 16 weight screw for adjustment. It's good that Ping has such adjustable weight screw like others for golfers to freely change. However, it has three spots for golfer to select the weight screw location. According to Ping website information, this 16g weight screw is able to change CG of the club head for 2.5mm range. If you would like to change the screw weight location, you can do it on G410 plus.

Of course, there are other plays for changing the weight screw locations with fade and draw. But it's not for me as shooting straight is main task for me without making the game complex. If you change the weight screw all the time, it will be hard for you to check your swing and maintain the shot consistency. Weight screw adjustment feature is good for advanced golfers to enjoy as their swing is stable and consistent, for such function, it will help them play certain shots more easily and better.

Moreover, the G410 plus sleeve is able to adjust the lie angle as previous Ping woods' sleeves do not have such function at all. There are other angle adjustments for G410 plus sleeve such as face open/close/square, loft and bigger angle selection. The key of sleeve is only weighted 6g as the lightest in the market. The lighter of sleeve is not effected the total head weight and CG location and it's good for clubmaking.

However, the new G410 sleeve can not be fit with G400 and older models. That means if you use G400 or older models, you can not enjoy more functions of sleeve on your woods. But it's not a big issue since there are many online sellers provided such sleeves for golfers to purchase. You only need to know the quality of the sleeve as online unknown sleeves are not as good as original.

I have not played Ping driver since G25 and I did try G400 and G400 max in recent years. It is typical Ping driver feel. The head is titanium material and should be good on hitting feel with metal impact. If you prefer pure metal head feel, this is the one you can consider. G410 plus driver head is not like TM and Callaway products with a number of features and technologies, but that doesn't mean the head is not as good as TM and Callaway. Without playing it and fitting the right shaft, it's unable to tell.

規格說明篇開始。

這次的桿身配置是Matrix 5M3 S硬度。一來它的桿身重量在55g，裁減到我要的長度，重量在52g。 和TM M6/Veylix Mansion 5 R木桿是差不多。想把G410 Plus做為另一支對照組來進行比較測試。所以桿身的特性也是中低彈道和低倒旋。和Mansion 5差不多。這樣產品的結果就可以進行比較和分析。

從球桿的產品特性，重量和整體規格都設定差不多。 這樣進行使用和比較就容易看出差異。當然我這次的連接器設定也和TM M6一樣把桿面角度給調低。G410是調平一度和桿面角度減一度設定。桿頭重量G410會稍微重2～3g左右。也訂了輕一點的螺絲，後面進行調整重量。會差到一個揮桿重量。把規格的差異壓到最小。 讓使用可以無縫接軌。

桿子的規格表請大家參考.
球頭: Ping G410 10.5度桿頭, 實際角度14度，調整到12度。196g重量，桿頭配重螺絲11g，連接器6.5g

桿身: Matrix 5M3 S硬度,重56g, 46”, 0.335”口徑，254cpm

握把: Lamkin X10 undersize R58尺寸, 黑色重42g

總長: 45”

總重: 292g

揮桿重量: D1.60

MOI: 2828 g/cm^2

硬度頻率: 250cpm

規格說明：
這桿子的設定就會以另一支木桿TM M6為對照組。也是要進行測試比較。所以在桿身選擇上就會找特性類似的產品來進行組裝。同時設定的規格也會設定類似。就是要把桿子的變數給控制在最小範圍內。如此讓我用起來沒有使用操控的問題，快速去瞭解發揮桿子的性能和回饋。桿頭重量我也訂購不同的桿頭重量螺絲來進行後續調整。

G410桿頭的螺絲在後方，我配制的是11g螺絲重量。如果可以有比較輕2～3g的螺絲就可以設定桿頭重量和M6一樣。這樣控制起來的感覺會比較類似。 在其他規格比如長度，總重和桿子硬度頻率都是一樣。硬度頻率差2cpm。所以這樣設定已經算是很接近M6 木桿的規格。桿身也是中低彈道。所以基本桿子都會有類似的結果和使用控制能力。

兩隻桿身的重心位置也差不多，所以得到的MOI是差在桿頭重量的差異。M6是2820g/cm^2， G410是2828g/cm^2.這是我把M6的桿頭重量也設定在196g。所以MOI的結果就差6g/cm^2. 如果把M6桿頭重量減3g是我適合的重量，得到的MOI就是2803g/cm^2.所以這當中的差異就是桿頭重量的不同。因為桿子長度和總重都一樣。而在揮桿重量上如果都是196g的桿頭重量，M6是D0.72， G410是1.60.這點就是桿身的重心影響和桿頭的重量分布差異。因為G410是整個桿頭鈦合金，M6是混合材質所以重量上沒有G410的集中。這也是導致揮重上的不同。

所以空揮起來是會覺得G410稍微的有感覺桿頭重量。當然這對於我使用是沒有問題。所以我下場多半會先打G410在前九洞。身體的狀態會比較好，可以控制比較重的G410.等後九再用M6就可以讓身體的負擔減輕。握把是用Lamkin X10 undersize 42g所以可以把重量壓低。握感上會比Pure的握把硬一些。但Lamkin X10的好用，在耐磨耐用的特性也是我愛用的握把之一。

這也是我在夏天打球盡可能會把桿子的重量給減輕。這對於下場打到後面才能讓身體去控制球桿。現在夏天實在太熱，打到後面身體會更容易疲憊。往往在最後2洞就會覺得身體很僵硬，胯就轉不太起來。這也是我夏天下場的頻率不高。會讓打球進入半夏眠狀態。就算每週在練習場維持動作的練習也減少練習的量。除非到海外打球。

Club specification.

This time I select Matrix 5M3 S flex shaft to fit Ping G410 Plus driver head. Since my other driver is TM M6 with Veylix Mansion 5 R combo and I make this G410 plus as the driver to compare. I make the specification close for two drivers in order to see the results on performance, feel and forgiveness. Meanwhile, the Matrix 5M3 S and Mansion 5 R is similar profile with low spin, low launch and shaft weight. With the similarity of the shaft profile, I can fit the driver for similar specification for play.

Even though the sleeve set up is similar, I set G410 sleeve to lower one degree on loft and lie angle. I order lighter weight screw for G410 in order to make the head weight the same as TM M6 head weight. The current G410 head weight is heavier 2~3g my TM M6 head. Below is the G410 plus driver specification for reference.

Head: Ping G410 10.5 loft, actual loft 14 degree，deloft to12. Weight 196g，weight screw 11g，sleeve 6.5g

Shaft: Matrix 5M3 S flex,56g, 46”, 0.335” tip size，254cpm. no tip

Grip: Lamkin X10 undersize R58, black 42g

Length: 45”

Specification:
The specification is similar with TM M6 driver. I add the TM head weight from 193 to 196g, the weight and swing weight will become very close on MOI (one is 2820 and the other is 2826). Of course, the weight, length, frequency (differentiated 2cpm) and swing weight are similar. The key of whole club setup is based on the shaft. Shaft is hard to know the profile. If you are familiar with certain shaft models and profile, you are able to select the right shaft to make the driver specification the same or similar.

Nowadays driver has the features for adjusting the weights, and angles, it is easy to make the head weight the same as others, but the shaft is not only picked the same weight, but also the shaft CG and profile need to be similar in order to get the same specification. It requires the knowledge, experience and usage on various shaft models then you are able to find the right shaft for similarity. With that similar shaft profile, you can make the driver comparison on the fair line.

The grip is undersize Lamkin X10 black color with 42g weight, it helps reducing the total weight but the grip is good on durability. That's why I love to play X10 with cheap price and durability. In summer, it's important to set the club in lighter weight for play. Due to the hot weather, if the club is like normal specification, your body will be hard to swing in back 9, particularly on last couple of holes. That's why I set the drivers specification with such weight.

As a result, the club setup must consider the overall condition. It can not just look at the certain point or specification situations. The fitter needs to consider all kinds of situation and allow you to swing the club easily without making the mistake. The right club setup is to let you swing consistently through 18 holes without difficulty.

實際測試篇開始。

實際測試
這桿子整體感覺也是黑色。揮起來會比較重一點。5M3這桿身就是重心偏前，所以就是給有揮桿速度的球友。尤其是暴力用手往下砸球的打法，這桿子會更適合。就算你不是肌肉男，5M3的重量輕也可以讓一般球友發揮順暢和容易。

因為桿子的重量偏前端可以讓揮桿過程，更容易感受到桿頭的移動。這對於有速度感的人可以掌握球桿更好。不會因為下桿速度快而感覺不到桿頭的移動。所以我比較不會用M系列桿身，我不喜歡打這類重量感很明顯在前端。打到後面就會吃力。失誤就容易出現。下面就是這桿子各方面的表現。

1. 桿頭回饋 - 這桿頭配上Matrix 5M3 桿身打起來的前2次，覺得桿頭很硬。手感回饋上不是那種很彈的感覺。至少和TM M6 配Veylix Mansion的回饋是完全不同。打M6的桿頭是桿面很彈，桿面特性是可以感受出來。而G410桿頭就覺得沒有這樣的樂趣。應該是桿身特性導致桿頭的回饋偏硬。應該桿身的材質強度高，讓觸球很快去反應到桿頭。

如果揮桿速度不快下，桿頭會感覺觸球的擠壓感就出不來。所以很適合暴力下桿的打法。但打到第三次，桿身的彈性就變得更好。桿身過了磨合期，回饋就不同。擊球的桿頭回饋就完全不同。原本硬邦邦的桿面變得很有彈性的回饋。

尤其打在桿面甜蜜點上，可以感覺到中球，球被桿面擠壓然後彈送出去。清楚瞭解球打在桿面的哪個位置。彈的位置會從桿面中球點稍微延伸出去。感覺就很爽！這也是我寫測評會花比較長的時間去觀察桿子在不同時間，使用次數和狀況的表現。不會一次使用就下結論。

如果打在非甜蜜點位置當然手感就沒有那麼彈，但也比一開始的桿面硬邦邦的要好的多。擊球聲音也比較響亮。鏘鏘的擊球聲！很爽的金屬撞擊感。這也可以瞭解桿身的強度結構，需要打個80下左右就會讓彈性發揮出來。進而影響到桿面擊球回饋。如果比較M6和G410的擊球回饋，M6比較像橡皮筋的彈力感，很舒服的感覺。

而G410就比較像擠壓然後彈送的感覺（包球的感覺）。是兩種不同的桿面撞擊效果。我還會再裝一支桿身來比較測試，看看G410的擊球感覺會有什麼不同？可能也會是Veylix Mansion或是其他桿身去比對。桿面的回饋會依據桿身特性和材質去得到不同的結果。至少在目前的桿身下，我感覺G410的桿面需要有力量和速度去得到彈力效果。

G410的桿面強度比較高，所以要得到桿面彈性效果可能不會像M6這類桿面比較薄，反彈效果高的設計。 所以如果你的揮桿速度比較快，G410的桿面就會讓你打起來比較爽。因為你可以盡情去發揮力量，把力量灌到桿頭裡去，得到最好的桿面彈力。不怕你全力摧，就怕你不夠力。而揮桿速度不快的球友，可能配置的桿身硬度要輕和軟一點，才能讓觸球的擠壓力量產生出來。

所以G410桿頭算是比較硬派作風！也是全鈦合金材質。對於配置的桿身特性和規格會比較要求。應該說現在的桿頭設計都很有特色風格。需要瞭解桿頭的設計和技術基礎，再去選擇適合的桿身去發揮。會有完全不同的結果和回饋出現。我覺得5M3配G410組合會比較適合揮桿速度95mph或以上的球友。

對我使用雖然沒問題，但還有其他更好的桿身會比較適合G410給揮桿速度在95mph以下的人。因為這種全鈦合金桿頭的擊球回饋應該會是最紮實和爽快。可以更好！所以讓大家可以期待我後續的G410和其他桿身的組合測試報告。

Usage experience:
The overall appearance of the driver is totally black and it feels a little heavy during the swing. That's due to the shaft center of gravity is close to the tip section and it's good for fast tempo with hitter profile golfer to play. If your swing speed is fast, this combo should be matched for you. Even through you are not a muscle guy, the shaft is light for you to squeeze your power easily. That's the reason why I pick 5m3 instead of 6m3.

Heavier shaft tip design is good for golfer to feel the club head movement during the down swing. Particularly the fast swing tempo golfer needs to feel the head movement during the downswing that could give him a better control for the golf club. If you are not powerful golfer, it will become the machine to eat out your energy. When your energy is not in good condition, it's easier to have the mis-shot or swing mistake. That's the thing you need to know for swing such club.

1. Head feeling: After playing the third time of this club, roughly about 80 times, the club become differently on swing and impact feel. During the first couple time of playing, the striking feel with the head is very stiff and uncomfortable. Compared with TM M6 driver feel, it's good feel and you can feel the ball on striking at specific spot of the face.

After 80 times of playing, the driver become better and more sensitive on striking. I can feel the head react with the ball that gives me solid feedback then bounce to the air. The face is not like rock instead of pushing the ball hardly with the powerful smash. I am kind of enjoying the feel for this driver. But the issue is that requires energy to drive the club hard.

After the club break-in, it becomes differently on feel and control. The head will aggress to contact the ball. At the first couple time, you need to lead the club to the striking point and then releasing the power. But after break-in, the club head is able to contact the ball easily and automatically. It's part of shaft reacting more quickly.

That's why all the new clubs required to play certain times for break-in then you can get the best performance and feel for the whole club. With my review, I play at least couple months to check the driver's performance, and feel on various places and time. This way I can get the overall result for a driver's fair review to public. I need to avoid the condition that I am not in the good shape to play the club and record all the plays to see how this club can provide and deliver for me?

The off sweet spot is hard and the sound of impact is not solid and sharp. The sound of impact is solid metal and it should drive people's passion of hitting the driver hard and long. The shaft material and profile do effect the head impact feel and sound. Thus I will build another shaft to fit G410 plus head in order to see other hitting feel and sound result. It needs to make the comparison for gathering more possible result then I can get the whole picture of the G410 plus' head profile. That's how I run the club review and test.

This driver is good for swing speed over 95mph golfers. If your swing speed is below 95mph, I think it's better to pick softer flex for playing nicely and easily. Since the head is kind of old fashion and requires to strike the ball as hard as possible. If the swing speed is not fast and powerful, you will have different feel on the impact. That's what I collect from other golfers for trying this driver. As a result, this driver is good for certain group of golfers. There is its own DNA!

實際測試篇2開始。

2. 桿身回饋 - 上面有提到，這桿子在前兩次打起來真的不是太好。硬邦邦的感覺，一點韌性都沒有，力量也灌不太下去。桿身的回饋也是一潭死水。完全感覺不到桿身的彈力或變化。不過M系列的桿身就是如此，性能導向，材質強度比較高。就是給有速度力量的使用者去發揮。不過前兩次的手感雖然不好，也說明桿身的強度高，需要打一定次數才能把桿身的內部結構彈力給發揮出來。也可以理解為什麼會有這樣的回饋。

從第三次後，桿身就像活起來一樣，可以感覺桿身的中間區塊有韌性出來。折點在桿身中間位置。下桿時是感覺不太出來桿身的物理變化，但擊球瞬間可以感覺桿頭甩出去，桿身開始彈送的效果。到力量釋放時，桿身的中間部位因為力量釋放會有震動的感覺出現！所以第三次打這桿子真的完全不一樣，而且非常有樂趣。

這也是為什麼我測試桿子需要花上幾個月時間來完成。因為有時候你無法感覺到和得到桿子最好的結果狀態。這不是桿子的問題，有時候是我們自己的狀況不好也會影響桿子的表現。所以測試球桿對我來說，要避免錯誤的結果或不公平的狀況，就是要在不同的時間，不同的地點，反覆去使用觀察才能得到一個比較完整的結果。我也給朋友來試，也是這樣的狀況。因為如果拿M6組合和G410給人試，多數人會選M6。

因為桿身桿頭的組合最容易發揮，同時手感好。但G410/5M3是比較有個性的桿子。喜歡的人會愛這種調調的風格。這桿身的回饋不會太多，下桿時桿身變化不大，甚至沒有，但在擊球前後就會變化比較多，樂趣也在這。所以它是屬於速度派的瞬間桿身變化風格。喜歡桿子簡單、變化少的這桿身就是你的菜！

3. 彈道和距離 - 5M3 的彈道就是中低彈道。雖然是50g等級，但彈道設計就是平平的在空中飛行的方式。球質是比較侵略性的風格。這點在我以前的測試裡就展現的球風。在G410也是如此。當桿身內部結構打開前後，對於打出來的彈道高度和球速其實都沒有太大差別。球速很快，不輸M6的組合。彈道也是平平的飛行。就是那種打起來很讓人熱血沸騰的桿子。

飛行的距離如果打到桿面甜蜜點的效果是和M6差不多。但非甜蜜點的距離，M6就比較優。會差10幾碼的距離。所以論距離它絕對不會輸給其他品牌的桿子，但重點在非甜蜜點的距離影響。我覺得這點會是和M6這類桿子的差異。因為M6它是整個桿面就是高反彈的設計，所以打在非甜蜜點的位置，效果自然會比其他桿子要好。

如果選手打其實兩隻桿子的距離差不多，但一般人打就可以看出差別。因為我們擊球的精準度沒有選手的高和力量大。這也是我用M6下場距離都可以維持在250Y左右，好的時候會出現260Y的機會。但G410的平均距離就是240Y，好的時候是250Y。不能說不好，我其他的桿子也是這樣的表現。算是達標，只是對手更突出。

但我想還是有機會改善這塊的表現，換不同桿身可以改變操控球桿的能力和效果。G410還有更好的表現空間。只是和5M3的組合對我來說不是最佳的配置。

2. Shaft feedback - The first couple time of playing, this driver is not really good to play and feel is hard and uncomfortable. But it doesn't effect its performance and ball speed. It's due to the shaft profile and material strongness. During the downswing, the power is not easy to load to the club, and unloading is not smooth. But it all changes on the third time for playing it. The shaft becomes differently and I can feel the shaft mid section is the kick point. There is a vibration after releasing the power.

The downswing is easier to load the power and at the striking pointing the head is smooth kicking the ball with big smash. When the head is striking the ball then I can feel the shaft's tip is vibrating. There is no feedback during the up and down swing, only before and after the impact has the feel. That's typical Matrix M series shaft profile that needs the power to drive the shaft bending and releasing. It requires the power to drive the shaft and result on the ball speed to the air.

The new club needs to play certain times for making the shaft become activation. Although the performance has no difference, the feel will entirely different. Compared with TM M6 driver, Veylix Mansion shaft is easier to handle and respond to the feel is comfortable and smooth. I would say it's different shaft profile and 5M3 is for hitter, not swinger like me. The 5M3 is typical performance driven shaft for good swing speed golfers.

3. Distance and trajectory - Here is the 5M3's advantage. As the performance driven shaft, the ball speed must be fast and the trajectory is mid or low. This shaft is all fit on these characteristic. When you play this driver, it will head up your passion and play one on one without hesitation. You can really enjoy striking the ball and it's like bullet travel on the air with solid penetration. I like its performance for sure.

Hitting on the sweet spot can get the distance like my TM M6, but with off sweet spot hits, the distance is shorter than M6. It's about 15 yards shorter. Since M6 face is high COR with thinner for high bouncing character, and off sweet spot can get the distance differentiation on face design. For G410, the best distance for me is about 250Y and off sweet spot is about 230Y. It's like my other driver's performance and reach the distance requirement.

I think it's the shaft issue that doesn't fit my swing profile. I will build another shaft to fit G410 plus later to find out the best shaft for me on G410. I do believe there is still the room for G410 to perform like TM M6. The difficulty is G410 head required more specific shaft profile to fit. I think Japanese shaft should work better than Matrix/LAGP.

4. 易打和操控能力 - 這桿子的規格和M6差不多。雖然桿頭的重量會比較重3g,都是在可以接受範圍裡。長度的使用也是我習慣。所以用起來這桿子在操控上是一點問題都沒有。只是桿身不是我喜歡的特性。鋼性比較強，如果沒有發揮力量來打會覺得打起來沒有太大樂趣和變化。

桿頭的體積雖然沒有做到460cc但455cc也是快到極限。所以桿頭的風阻會比M6感覺大一點。在launch monitor上，桿頭速度會比M6要少2～3mph。加上桿頭重量比較重，下桿的速度比較容易受到制約。所以會影響擊球的精準度和速度。

後面有訂到重量螺絲是8g，我目前的螺絲重量是11g。所以剛好可以調到我喜歡的桿頭重量。更換後的使用也比較舒服。桿頭速度有增加1mph。也算提升了。

當然原廠的G410規格是45.75“的長度，對於使用肯定有影響，所以我才會設定在我個人習慣使用的規格範圍。對於易打來說，G410已經算不錯。但它的桿面設計比較大，所以打在其他位置會比較容易。相對於M6的桿面比G410小，所以中球的位置會更加集中，得到的結果也比較好。

以易打容錯的表現M6會優於G410. G410在非甜蜜點的擊球效果似乎沒有比M6好。至少在距離的結果上是如此！應該說；G410如果打在非甜蜜點越遠位置，距離效果就不好。而桿面也做的大，如果動作精準度和穩定性不好，距離落差就很大！

5. 穩定性和失擊壓制能力 - 這桿子的側旋壓制能力真的不錯。和M6旗鼓相當。因為桿身的強度高，所以在失擊時，對於側旋壓制的幅度約在15碼到20碼範圍。都是很優的表現。下場打不會讓你掉桿或產生大的傷害。最多就是到長草或樹林，不會到出界。所以打這支桿可以很放心去發揮速度力量。

Matrix 5M3這桿身是舊款。現在LAGP的black tie也有這款桿身，但桿身的重量是從60g開始，已經沒有50g的規格產品了。所以我才用這款舊的款式。但桿身的強度和抗側旋能力真的在50g這個產品等級算數一數二的頂尖位置。加上彈道中等，可以打出更好的抗風中低彈道球路來。這在其他50g桿身不容易看到。

所以我才會選它，如果用日系50g的同等級的產品，側旋會比較高。也容易打軟。所以在桿身的側旋壓制力和桿子的整體穩定性，美系桿身還是比較優，也讓我打起來比較放心。桿身沒有新款就比較好。而是要知道桿身特性去選擇適合的重量、規格。

M6的Veylix Mansion就是一樣美系產品，所以桿身強度真的沒話說。下場有時候覺得動作沒有做好，但也只是稍微偏一點。球一樣還是留在球道上，沒有掉桿的問題。帶這兩隻下場打到目前都沒有掉球狀況。當然目前的動作比較穩定，桿頭的側旋，倒旋也少。觸球角度就算跑掉一點也沒問題。

所以對於桿子打出來的結果就比較穩定和有信心。這也是我比較喜歡用美系桿身。因為失誤的影響會比較小。我下場打球都是全力發揮，沒有在用6成的力打球。因為本身距離就沒有太大的優勢，如果沒有全力發揮，那距離就短了。但全力打如果桿身強度和穩定性不夠就很容易打歪。

所以我才會說我可以犧牲手感這塊，去得到更好的擊球效果和穩定性。尤其現在的木桿桿面的倒旋量設計都很少。如果桿身不對，這樣的側旋量就會在桿身上。這也是現在的木桿，桿身的選擇很重要！桿身會讓一支木桿產生很大的變化和改變。

如果桿身選不對，會讓你用的跌跌撞撞，很掙扎。但對的組合會讓你如魚得水、生龍活虎。所以我通常打過桿子後，就可以知道有沒有空間去提升？當然也要對不同產品有一定的經驗值和瞭解深度，才能找出適合的桿身來匹配。瞭解產品特性是關鍵！

我只要打過就能瞭解桿頭的特性。同時知道桿子有沒有提升性能的空間。每一支桿子都有獨特的風格來針對特定的使用族群。所以如果我打過無法發揮本身身體力量就會有改善和提升空間。這就是球友要去建立和觀察的重點。

因為所有的桿子都不是為你而設計，你必須去用過後，利用你對桿子的感覺來進行改善、調整的依據。不是去適應桿子，調整自己的動作和節奏配合球桿。以目前G410/5M3的組合來說，我個人覺得有提升改善空間。它已經不錯只是我覺得可以更好。我想要配置出讓我想用G410的動機和需求。

就如同我現在喜歡用M6/Mansion這樣。因為它打起來爽，效果也到位。這樣不是太難。因為有些桿身可以做到。就是要去實際打出來感受。而G410桿頭是很有個性的產品。它會挑桿身來配合。所以如果你沒有去多嘗試不同的桿身配置，可能不容易找出最好的組合。但G410值得你這樣做！只是你要把它的實力給引導出來。

4. Playability and control - I make the driver specification to be similar with my other clubs then I can play with my best without difficulty. However, this G410 combo is little hard for me to play, the head is heavier than my others, it makes me swing hard and fast in order to get the best performance of this driver. If I swing 60% of my power, the result would not be good compared with TM M6.

Since the shaft requires certain speed for delivery of the performance, and the head face is bigger than TM M6. As a result, it will face more resistance during the downswing. On the launch monitor, the head speed is slower than TM M6.

On the striking point of view, bigger head face would make the striking to sweet spot more difficult as you will have higher percentage of hitting off sweet spot. That's why TM M6 can get better distance and better accuracy on the face hot zone. Since the face is smaller than G410, it will help golfer strike on the right spot for best result. It tells one simple rule, detail can effect the result of your play. If your swing is consistent, you do not need to play big head size and big face.

I change the weight screw to make the head weight lower with my expectation. The result is better and help me get more control on the workability. It also increases the head speed a little. The key of G410 head requires to strike hard and power. If you are not the hitter, it's better to look for other driver head for easier to play and better control.

If you play off the rock G410 driver, the length is 45.75", it would not help you play better or strike accurate. The longer length of the driver will require more power and speed to handle. I would suggest average golfers or weekend golfers to make the length shorter for better play and control. Customization is needed for making G410 better to control and play. This head requires good fit for the specification and shaft profile.

5. Consistency and mis-shot result - The good thing on mis-shot is impressive that the shaft is strong and consistent to reduce the side spin. It certainly helps golfers on mis-shot. I have played G410 combo without OB and the shaft is good for me to swing hard. I believe 5M3 earns the credit.

Even though the mis-shot will result about 15~20 yards off the target and land on the rough or trees. However, 5M3 is old model from Matrix shafts, the new model of black tie from LAGP is weighted from 60 gram. If your swing speed is less than 95mph in driver, to play 60 gram in summer might have the difficulty on back 9 for control and swing accuracy.

5M3's spin is low and resistance of side spin is good, The shaft material and profile are strong for hitters to swing hard. For other Japanese peers, there are few shafts can deliver such profile and result. If you are in hot temperature area in summer time, the lighter shaft weight will help you play easier. With 5M3 shaft's profile, you can swing hard without facing the problems of mis-shot or swing mistake. That's why I like to play 5M3 during the summer time. I can finish 18 holes without difficulty and maintain the swing accuracy to the end.

Although 5M3's shaft feedback is not as smooth as Japanese shaft. It's just too simple and not much feedback for golfers to enjoy, but I need performance and consistency better than good feel from the club. There is no perfect club, sometimes you need to trade in and sacrifice some parts to get what you like and need. Of course, there are other shafts can deliver better feel and good result. I will build other shaft to fit G410. I need more experience to know G410's capacity and performance.
