前幾天帶孩子打9洞，沒有打盡興，所以就訂一場18洞來打。剛好有休息，2天後下午2:40開球。自己下場簡單也方便。當天中午開始下大雨，心想可能打不成。到了2點出門，到球場約2:10分，稍微等一下雨停，去球場拿球車鑰匙、開打了！這次打最接地氣的Planation球場，就在住的附近，到停車場看都沒有什麼車，賺到！可以包場了。球場人員也說，到了就可以開球，因為根本沒有人。

這個球場就是被整個社區給包圍住，開著球車就是在社區裡轉來轉去。打幾洞就要過馬路到另外一區去打幾洞。非常有趣！也是我打過的球場裡，感覺最不像球場的球場。前9在馬路的一邊，後9在馬路的另外一邊。而每一邊都還需要過小馬路到不同區打。所以打這個球場你如果方向稍微偏一點就會打到別人家裡。我今天就打到住家的院子裡2次。球只能和它bye、bye了。

這個球場的難度我覺得一般。沒有想像的難，雖然有比較多的水池，但應該都不會太難打過。我下水2次。那是可以避免，因為桿頭吃深了，所以距離就短。我沒有下沙坑，但下雨，球也不滾，就需要打實的距離，尤其這個球場的排水不太好。很多地方都積水，我球都需要拿起來到比較不濕的地方來打。果嶺狀況也有幾洞草都死掉。但有些洞的果嶺還是挺好。看得出來時過度使用。

這個球場的難度在“方向”的掌握。因為球道的兩旁大多是住家，當然有幾洞的球道是很寬廣，但如果方向歪的話，一樣會打到別人家裡。所以方向和距離的掌握是關鍵。而它的藍梯才不到6400碼，很多par 4的洞都可以打倒果嶺邊或果嶺前。所以距離不會是難度，但準度會是抓鳥的關鍵。尤其它的果嶺設計的不大，稍微打偏一點就落在長草。很多的果嶺都是砲台式設計，打不上去就會滑下來。

今天我的第二桿大多是中鐵/7i來進攻，也都發揮的不錯。木桿的距離也發揮不錯，雖然下雨但多少還是落地有彈跳。不會直接砍埋到草裡。尤其球道旁邊的長草是容易把你的球給蓋住，不見得會找得到。但只要不要軟的土，都不會讓球埋起來。至少美國這邊的球場，下雨還是有彈跳和找得到球。中國的球場就直接進去了。北京的球場還不會這樣但華中和南邊的場子就會這樣。

After playing 9 hole player golf course, I am still excited to play another round so I book Plantation golf course to play alone. This golf course is located within the living area, you barely can see it's the golf course as you need to play couple holes then cross to the roal to other section for another couple holes. Therefore, the accuracy is key to make your score down.

My tee time is 2:40pm and it's raining since noon. It might not be able to play but once I arrive, the rain is stopped. It's good to play since only few golfers to play in such condition. I can really enjoy the play for this afternoon. Since the fairway and green are around the houses, if there is no big room for you on the direction. I hit two balls into the houses, sorry for that!

There are many waters for this course but it's not tough to play. Since the raining makes the ball fly a little short and needs to add more yardage for each iron shots, particularly the par 3. Since the raining, there are many spots it's unable to play with waters and the green condition is not so good. It's obvious over usage for this course.

For such condition, you can only play for fun instead of seriously playing with your abilities. The blue tee total distance is less than 6400 yards, it's ok for me to make the second shot with my 7i. Most of par 4s are left less than 100 yards or I can tee shot to the edge of the green. As a result, the distance is not an easy or the challenge for golfers, but you need to focus on the accuracy.

Sometimes when I miss the fairway, the ball is easier to be covered by the rough. It's not easy to find your ball if you do not know where the ball is landed. I don't hit into the bunkers today but the raining would make the sands harder and difficult to get out. The fun is number 10 holes, the par 5 with the water in the middle of the fairway.

下集開始。

因為下雨，我就是打打停停。雨大就停下來,等雨停再開戰。這邊的雨下不長，如果在台灣就直接收工回去。本來打到10洞開完球，要過一個水池，應該不是水池但下大雨，導致車道都是大水。怕球車被水衝走，就算了，回去再打一次前9。打完了以後，看水勢小了，就再把後九給打完。因為我一個人打，超快，我的球也不會不見，一個人打沒有壓力就像在練習場打球一樣。都在球道或旁邊的長草。18洞打完才2小時14分，所以想再打。

後9的難度沒有前9的難。雖然有水池，但我覺得有距離的話都可以過。當然如果沒有打好，球可能會下水。只是我覺得這個球場的質量不是太好，長草外的草都是雜草。可能過度使用下，維護也沒有很到位，這樣的球場我就來過就好。下次不會想再來打。如果球場的維護和草種不好，我就不會想再來，就算球場有挑戰我也不想打。

加上球場積水的很嚴重，可見當初或後續的保養維護沒有做很好。因為這個球場在社區裡，也離其他地方不遠，所以每次來，都看到很多車子和人打球。這樣下來就很難維護和保養球場養草了。這也是我目前在Plano打的球場質量最鳥的一個。當然下雨比較會看到很多缺失或問題。但就算沒有下雨，球道和果嶺都是比其他球場要弱。

打完27洞，4個小時。就收工回家！今天下雨打的非常輕鬆，也沒有往常那樣很多失誤。因為一個人打球沒有別人，壓力也沒有，打起來就沒有後顧之憂。後9每一桿都打2次來練習，不是par就是加1。用TM TP 5和Callaway Super Hot 球，鐵桿和木桿都一樣距離。不知道TP5哪邊好....

沒有太陽和高溫，打球就非常舒服和輕鬆。到了最後2洞才覺得有點累。一路上都不覺得累或餓。準備的點心都沒有機會吃。所以今天下雨打球，心裡其實是很爽！因為我知道這裡的雨下不長。下下停停的，打球不會累，也相對舒服。

只要球場不關，我就一定會打。而且下雨很多人都不會打，這樣人也少。我就一個人，多數組別都會讓我先打。所以我喜歡一個人打就在這裡，而且下雨我反而高興。所以我有更多時間可以拍照，也攝影每一洞的球道和果嶺。大家看也比較瞭解。雖然回去要清理球桿和球袋，但這樣好像吃到飽的打球，會讓我打得爽爽的回去。晚上會超好睡！

Since it's raining and I play when the rain stops. When I play the 10th hole, the water is so big so I can not cross over with the cart then I play first 9 again. When I play two first 9, the water is not as big as an hour before so I keep play the back 9 for complete the entire course. It's only 2 hours and 14 minutes for double first 9 holes.

There are no golfers to play and I can relax to play with my best. I do not lose any ball in this course with all my clubs working smoothly without out of bound. It's like playing in driving range and you only play with your own way without caring others. That's why I can perform so well but the course condition is not so good to come again in the future.

I can always see golfers are playing this golf course with many cars in the parking lot. With such situation, it's hard to maintain the course for better condition. That's why the green and fairway are not as good as other course. Of course it's close to Plano, Frisco and McKinney with the convenience.

Today I also play Taylormade TP5 and Callaway Superhot two balls to see the differentiations. One is 5 layer urethane cover ball and the other is simple 2 layer surlyn cover ball, I hit twice to compare the balls performance and feel in the back 9. Honestly, in terms of performance, I get the same distance for the two balls in all the clubs.

I really do not know why TP5 is so expensive and the performance is not as good as I expect. I do not like the ball with over 3 layer construction since the swing speed is not over 100mph golfers are hard to get the multilayer ball truly performance. Well, that's what I get from the practical result.

It's good golfing day with raining that I can enjoy the whole golf course by myself and take as many pictures and videos as I like. Of course the wether is good to play over 4 hours instead of hot temperature. The golf course is below the average that will not come again. Since there are many golf courses in Plano area, I would rather to play better condition and well maintenance.
