球打不破、桿子打不斷就沒問題嗎？

產品的好壞每個人的標準都不同，當使用產品時，大家對產品的效能，耐用和狀況都有不同的要求標準。所以廠商才能這樣持續的銷售。而高爾夫球也好或是球桿都一樣。也是因人而異，因為你我對產品的要求標準和需求不同，所以一樣的球桿或球，有些人會覺得OK，有些人就覺得不好用。

但不管你對產品要求如何，今天我就要來討論一些產品的可能問題，和效能的影響使用狀況。先說球這塊，球經過使用肯定會產生磨損和刮傷。而這些傷痕是否會影響你使用和球的飛行滾動呢？肯定會！

當球的表面不再像原本狀態的時候，推桿時的滾動就會產生不平衡的狀態，而這樣的狀態，就會導致球的滾動路徑無法掌握或會偏向。影響的程度大小和你的球磨損狀況和推擊的長度、力道、果嶺地形有直接關係。這也是為什麼打得好的球友或選手，他們是看球的狀況來更換球，不是打到球磨損很大才更換。

同樣狀況，球在飛行時也會因為球表面的磨損和空氣間的摩擦，空氣流動產生影響飛行路徑和高度差異。有些人會問影響多少？不好說！當然還有很多狀況，是你無法用肉眼去評斷目前的內部狀況好壞？不是球外觀好好的就是這球沒問題。

有些時候，球的外觀好好，但球心內部有破損或有水分跑進去。都會影響球的性能和飛行表現。這點就是大家無法去判別，也無法瞭解實際產品好壞狀況的原因。除非把球破開來才能瞭解。另一個就是個人本身的技術能力。經驗和技術程度，可以瞭解產品的性能表現。這需要靠你的經驗來判斷。

Everything has different criteria for the product quality and that's why companies can sell tons of products to market. In terns of golf ball and golf clubs, it's same situation, people are different and it makes the standard and demand differently, some products some people like it and others do not think so.

Let's talk about the golf balls, once you play the golf balls, there are some scratches on the cover that certainly is able to effect your performance and feel. For putting, it could make your rolling imbalanced without expected path.

Even though the ball appearance is ok without scratching, it doesn't mean the ball is good condition. Since the inside of the golf ball might have the imbalanced and damage after using certain times, it could make your ball flight unstable and strange on the air. Unless you cut off the ball to see, but once you cut the ball off, the ball is dead.

For golf balls, you are unable to use your eyes to evaluate the ball condition and quality. You can only use your experience and skills to feel the differentiations. For example, you used to tee shot 250 yards but by using the recycled golf balls, the ball might flight higher, and shorter distance, that's the way you can feel and evaluate the ball condition.

That's why for good skilled golfers, you change the ball regularly instead of losing the ball to use the new one. It doesn't mean the average golfers could not feel the difference of the golf ball condition. You can trust your instinct that the ball is not flighting as good as it should be or the striking feel is not as solid as before. That's the way you can determine the ball quality and condition.

對於球桿來說，多數人都是秉持桿子頭好壯壯就可以用。但實際現在球桿的使用壽命沒有以前來得長。因為成本的提升，價格並沒有比20年前的桿子要貴多少，所以球桿的質量和耐用度，相對沒有以前的桿子好。

再加上現在的科技和材質的進步，雖然可以提升使用效能，但對於耐用來說其實沒有比較好。很多球友都說，我這桿子打超過10年還這樣虎虎生風，但實際是靠你個人技術和能力去配合球桿。

比如你不能用力打，不然桿子承受不了你的力量和速度。或是桿子抗風能力不好，你需要打低....有很多情況，都是你必須配合球桿才能讓它表現出你期待的結果。這樣的桿子就算沒有打壞，也無法發揮你身體力量和速度。

桿面就算磨損不大，也不代表它的狀態正常。很多球具店退下來的試打桿，是最典型的例子。因為所有東西/產品，都有一個使用極限和最佳使用效能。使用超過一個次數，或打超過一定次數，桿面，桿身的彈力效果就會打折或減低。

而且不是貴的產品它就比較耐用，耐用、使用期限和價格沒有直接關係。所以現在的產品設計不是要用一輩子。而是性能退化，就需要更換。這和你的使用頻率、個人速度、力量有直接關係。

這也是球桿的效能好壞，需要看你自己使用為主，不需要問，或認為別人都可以用超過10年，但我的打個兩年就洩氣了。別人是別人，你是你。你需要相信自己的使用結果和感受。因為性能退化，你是絕對可以感受的出來。

不說別的，以握把來說，太多球友不知道在省什麼，握把都磨損到影響使用還不更換。這產品你總該可以自行評斷好壞。球桿和球都是個人使用的產品。你不會借給其他人使用。既然是自己用就好好的珍惜、保養它。需要更換就更換。你才能打得出樂趣和效能。這樣裡子和面子都兼顧！

In terms of golf clubs, most of golfers believe the clubs without damage is good of usage. If you look at the pricing for recent 20 years, the prices have not been gone up too much. Comparing the inflation ratio, the cost of current golf clubs are cheaper than before. It certainly makes the golf clubs without durable than before.

Although the technology and materials have been improved, it helps the golf clubs perform better, but it doesn't mean the durability is better than 20 years ago. Some golfers are so proud of his golf clubs have been using over 10 years without damage. In fact, the golf clubs have been weakening and they can not swing hard and use full power of speed during the usage.

The key is you need to work with the clubs without playing what you are expecting. That's limited your play. There is another example for refurbish golf clubs. Some of golf pro shops returns the demo clubs and sells with discount. For such golf clubs, the club face is good without damaging but actually the face performance is not as good as new condition.

You are unable to know how many people have been trying that club and the face without scratch or marking doesn't mean the club is in good condition for playing. It's like golf ball we are unable to cut off the ball in order to see the inside of the ball in structuring and quality.

Golf club's face and shaft have certain limitation for playing times, once it breaks the limitation, the performance results weakening. The expensive golf clubs do not mean its durability is better. The durability is nothing about the pricing, it's about how you play and what is your power and speed.

With golf grips, I have been seeing many golfers' grips damaging but they still keep using it. It's not expensive for golf grip and you can go to pro shops or workshops to replace your grips. I do not know why these golfers do not change the new one. It's your clubs and you should take good care of them. That's your golf and image. You should try to maintain your clubs and retire the clubs regularly to enjoy the golf. It will make you better and perform great!
