Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5推桿！

這個推桿到手後，有稍微推一下，但感覺桿子的設定和重量都不是我個人的規格，所以重新去調整設定自己可以用的規格。首先我買一支新的鋼管推桿桿身，因為這類桿頭無法使用碳纖維桿身，只能用鋼管桿身，同時我也選適合我自己用的推桿握把Superstroke Flatso 2.0.我都是裝握把正面轉90度或負90度。

因為平的一面在左邊就是左手控制，平的一面在右邊就是右手控制。我這次是裝在右邊！或許有人會說，原廠設定就是平的面在你的中心點，但只要可以讓你握的更好、更順手或效果提升，任何東西都是可以依據你個人需要去調整，沒有標準答案。另外我也訂了5g螺絲2個來減低桿頭重量，不過，實際推起來，還是覺得沒有螺絲是最好的感覺，更容易讓肩膀啟動！避免手臂施力過多。

在長度，設定在32“，整體推起來真的很舒服。操作感更好，原本的設定和重量對我的手腕和手指造成太沈重的負擔。這就是我需要去調整長度和桿頭重量。因為我不是用手掌或手臂在控制桿頭和推桿的推法，我手臂是比較放鬆，靠肩膀去啟動和擺動的力量，所以桿子不能讓手臂去發力，必須讓肩膀輕鬆生產動能，所以球桿的重量和長度是非常重要。

實際下場推的效果還真的不錯。這類大MOI的小烏龜桿頭的好處就是桿面比較不容易亂偏。方向的掌握比較容易和輕鬆。唯一的缺點就是長推的距離上沒有傳統刀背的好。我在華盛頓特區的Enterprise球場上，在方向的掌握和距離上都相當滿意。基本上都是2推結束，對於手感來說，就一般，推到甜蜜點是不錯，相對比較舒服，也沒有到驚艷。

手感上比較彈，可以感覺到球彈出去。對於中、短距離真的容易，就算沒有進都是滑過洞口。沒有很大的偏差，感覺用這種推桿有點讓推桿變簡單和容易了。如果不是Enterprise果嶺在打洞鋪沙，我覺得有4～6洞的一推都可以進去。只能說如果Scotty的推感可以提升就真的會滿分，因為它的桿頭設計確實非常有殺傷力，外貿協會的球友要拒絕都很難！

Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 putter is good for golfers to put, however, I need to reset for my personal usage by changing the shaft, grip and head weight. For such head design, the shaft inserting is unable to fit graphite shaft, as a result, I get the new steel shaft and reset the length for my ideal use at 32" including the grip.

I do not reshaft to damage the original shaft, I pull the shaft out and get the new shaft and new grip for new setting. I prefer Superstroke Flatso 2.0 with + 90 degree or - 90 degree setting. Why? since I personally prefer to grip larger space of the grip on my control arm such as left. That way, I feel better control to stay my putter face square. There are some professional golfers doing such setting on grip.

At the meantime, I order 2pcs of 5g weight screw for changing the head weight. Since I use my shoulder to lift the putter and control the putter head with the shoulder rotates. With that method, my putter can't set long and heavy for shoulder. With total length 32", it's extremely fit my putting style, I feel very comfortable to manage the putter head without problem.

The mallet putter head is good for average golfers to control the head movement. Practically I barely miss the putt and even though I miss the putt, it just slips the hole. I was playing at Enterprise golf course in Maryland, I have about 5~6 holes can make 1 putt, and the rest is 2 putts. I really like this putter and it makes the game become easy and simple.

Regarding the impact feel, I can feel the ball bounce and off the face. If you strike on the sweet spot, it feedbacks soft, off sweet spot is kind of hard. You certainly can feel the difference. Personally I like the head shape and design, the high MOI head makes the putting as easy as possible. It's no doubt there are many professional golfers are using it!

或許我上面說的好像很容易但其實都在細節裡，因為長度不對，重量不對，都會導致你很難控制桿頭的移動，桿頭無法控制好，你的方向性就不穩定，要推好就是白日夢。如果桿子重量不對，也會讓你很難控制力量來掌握距離。再加上握桿，如果握把和你的推法都不一致，那要掌握球桿和就登天難了。

每次要買新球桿時，我都會看每一款推桿可以如何去調整修改，修改空間等。因為如果沒辦法改，那只是買一支棍子回家，用也不會順手。對於一般球友來說，可以諮詢技師，討論幾個方面，一就是必須你喜歡，二是是否適合你的身體和推法？三是、是否可以調整、改善和調整空間？第四就是費用估算。球友需要做功課，瞭解一些產品的技術和相關知識，才能讓討論不會雞同鴨講，或一問三不知。

當你把長度、重量和握把給搞定，自然可以對所謂的仰角/lie angle解決。對於滾動效果就可以針對桿身、桿面角度和桿面紋路去觀察。不過現在的推桿都走沈重的桿頭和重推桿的風格，靠肩膀和手臂放鬆的推桿就比較不是主流。這也是我必須把推桿的規格和重量重新設定，但這都是可以輕鬆解決，因為有配重螺絲可以讓你自己去調整。

我必須說，當推桿重新設定規格，握把後，完全會變成一支不同的桿子。和我一開始用的Phantom X5完全不一樣。調整後就完全聽你的話，推18洞手也不會酸，對身體和推法完全不會有壓力和過大的負擔。唯一的問題就是距離感和傳統刀背推桿頭會短一些。應該是桿身和桿頭導致距離滾動不足，至少在中短距離是的掌握是很棒。這就是對的推桿必須要有。我把Phantom變成我的Phantom，而不是Scotty Cameron的Phantom。

我玩推桿很久，也會不斷去設定很多的變化，才能瞭解推桿的性能和可行性。如果你有對的推桿和規格，你肯定可以少很多推，更重要是它給你的信心和可玩度絕對是最爽的地方。推桿是非常個人化的桿子，任何一個零件和規格都可以依據你去調整和改變，只要能讓你更容易去掌握和發揮，都值得去落實。你不需要看別人的感覺或認同，因為這是你自己的工具，只要你覺得好，推得順，就是好推桿！

It's always in the details for the golf clubs. The putter specification can tell you the details, it's not that easy through my expression. If the length, weight and overall putting feel are different or can't fit your putter style, it's not going to let you putt nicely. Most of average golfers always say I can try to pick up the way of the putter, it's you fit the putter.

If I would like to get the new putter, I check the putter's overall information and adjustment first before taking the action. I always ask myself, is it able to change the specification, is there a room for me to adjust the spec? If the answers are positive, I will go for it without doubt. For average golfers, I suggest you check your clubfitter first before purchasing the new putter.

Of course, you have to do your homework by studying the new putter's technology, advantages and materials. With such information, it's easier to address your points with the professional clubfitter for evaluating the right putter to you. However, you can always check 4 points for the new putters as the pre-purchasing work.

First of all, you must like it! second is whether or not the putter fits your putting style and physical body? Third is to consider whether not there is a room for later adjustment, the final question is the cost of adjustment. When you review 4 questions, you are able to find the answer without difficulty. it works for me!

After adjusting the grip, shaft, weight, length, the Phantom becomes completely different putter. I can easily make the putt or close it within 2 putts. Even though I miss the putt, the damage is still under control without making 3 putts. After a round, my arms are not felt tired or hard. I would say it's my phantom and it totally works perfectly on me.

Putter is extremely personal golf club, a detail can make your game upside down. That's why you need to pay attention on it. A good putter can make you burn your passion and confidence for each putt. It deserves you to spend more time on fine tune all the details for your own specification. It's not easy but it's definitely worth it!
