目前台灣很多球友討論的一款桿身就是訴求auto flex的特性，我自己是叫無差別硬度。就是適用不同揮桿速度的球友使用。聽起來很屌，但其實我很早就知道也配置這類的產品給球友來用。我不是用現在大家討論的品牌產品，而是市面上桿身材質以40噸或以上的產品，以美系為主的桿身就其實是無差別硬度。

以前的桿身軟硬度比較明顯是材質因素。以前桿身材質大多是碳布噸位在30以內，但在10年前，日本一些小品牌開始運用高噸位碳布材質在桿身上，現在幾乎所有不錯的桿身都是以高噸位碳布材質為主。所以桿身強度已經比以前要高很多，同時得到的效能也比以前要好。現在的選手開球距離也提升，部分原因也在這上。

為什麼美系桿身，因為美系的桿身尤其Matrix/LAGP和Veylix，我比較熟，所以都是這樣在配置給台灣和中國球友使用。這類桿身使用高噸位碳布材質，用50g這個重量級別和R硬度就可以讓70%的球友使用。甚至有時用R1，比R要再軟一個階級，一樣讓平時用S硬度的球友打得嚇嚇叫。有些測試文都在我的網站上可以去爬爬。

因為我試過不同硬度和不同重量，給不同使用者使用，得到的回饋和實際觀察擊球結果，以回饋來說，這類桿身都差不多，不會有很硬的感覺。都很簡單和迅速。沒有日系桿身那種彈性感。打起來可以說無聊但卻很有效率，也很穩定。不過也是因為桿身回饋簡單，所以這才是無差別硬度的設計基礎。因為我很少會配置給球友他目前用的硬度桿身，以我熟悉的桿身特性通常用軟一或兩個級別都可以。

其實日系桿身如果也是用高噸位碳布材質也是回饋很簡單，沒有過多”踢“的感覺。至少我用過的Fujikura、三菱、UST-Mamiya都是如此。當然有些桿身款式會有比較明顯的軟硬感覺，打起來也比較多的彈性，那是在桿身內部設計比較多30噸以下的碳布材質，讓桿身回饋可以更舒服和軟硬、折點明顯。

Recently there is korean made shaft auto flex that fits for all kinds of golfers to use. It sounds good for golfers to play without getting fit on shaft flex, but I have been fitting the single flex shaft to golfers since 5 or 6 years ago. I have been using the high grade of carbon fiber such as 40 ton fiber sheet or above and selects the R flex or R1 flex (softer than Regular flex) to fit the golfers with swing speed from 85 to 105mph.

A decade ago, most of golf shaft is using the carbon fiber below 30 ton that makes the shaft strongness not as good as current high grade carbon fiber. With such material, it needs to set various flexes for all kinds of golfer swing speeds. However, recent 10 years, the carbon fiber has been boosting for the strongness with better performance, stability and feel. That's the advantages from the materials.

I am familiar with LAGP/Matrix and Veylix shafts and they are using carbon fiber 40 ton or above carbon sheet for the products, I can use 50 gram shaft weight with Regular flex to fit about 70% of golfers in Asia. For some shafts, I can lower down to R1 flex for golfers to play. Even you play Stiff flex currently, you can enjoy the R1 flex shaft without sacrificing the consistency and performance.

I have been using and testing lots of golf shafts from Fujikura, Mitsubish Rayon, UST-Mamiya, LAGP/Matrix, Veylix, if the shafts are consisted of high grade carbon fiber with over 40 ton fiber sheet, it will be good for average golfers to get better distance, fast ball speed, and forgiving. Although the feedback is kind of bored as the shaft works very simple to catch your striking point without too much bouncing feedback.

The regular flex is good for average golfers with swing speed from 85 to 100mph, they won't feel hard during the play but it's not too soft from the usage. It's just as simple as you can image. You won't be able to feel the difference between R, R1 and S flexes. To me it feels the same. That's why for high grade carbon fiber shafts are good for single flex to majority.

無差別硬度在高噸位碳布的材質下已經是如此。因為它的桿身強度可以用R或R1的硬度給揮桿速度在85～105mph的球友使用而不會覺得太軟或太硬的問題。同時桿身強度高，擊球的倒旋比較低，就算揮桿速度在95mph以上的人用也可以承受的了。簡單說；現在桿身強度已經提升很多，一個硬度可以讓多數球友用的嚇嚇叫。

無差別硬度只是一個表象。因為你的揮桿速度快，雖然桿身強度可以承受得了，但用的次數就比較容易到臨界值，簡單說就是容易打軟。雖然你的用的手感是沒有太大差別，但你可以從你的球飛行速度、距離和高度去瞭解，你的桿身是否已經被打軟。因為碳纖維桿身就是彈性優勢，強度在的時候，球飛的像飛彈一樣猛，一旦強度衰退了，球速就像公車一樣了。

而且球容易飛高，因為倒旋增加，球往前的推力就減少，反而是球本身的自轉增加。所以用這類的桿身如果你揮桿速度快，桿身消耗會比較快。就如同桿身每次揮擊，比如揮桿速度90mph的人是給桿身10kg的壓力和100mph是20kg，所以速度快，桿身消耗是更大。

最後就是桿身重量，說實在的把桿身的重量設定在50g，我就可以讓使用者的桿頭速度提升，如果桿子規格設定在更適合使用者，絕對可以提升擊球距離。而配合高噸位碳布的軟硬度和輕桿身特性，要提升擊球距離就是輕而易舉。當然可以再用低於50g的桿身，但其實消耗會更快。所以我很少會用低於50g的桿身。

我有幾十種方法可以提升擊球距離和桿頭速度，在不改變人的條件下。但我不會照市面上的方法去做又輕又長的桿子來提升。只要依據人和產品的特性去設定球桿規格，一樣可以距離突飛猛進！市面上已經有一堆嚇嚇叫的產品可以讓你得到好的結果。那種被鬼嚇到的價格，跟風的風險就是套牢和不適用的規格。切記！

As a result, single flex shaft is able to fit most of golfers' swing speed and profile, however, the durability of the shaft will be varied by different swing speed golfers. If your swing speed is over 100mph and compares with swing speed 90mph, the 100mph golfer's golf shaft will be broken in the limitation easier and quicker than 90mph.

Since the shaft is loading more power for 100mph golfer with more bending through the swing. When the shaft is retired, your ball speed will be decreased significantly and the ball flights higher without too much rolling distance. your distance will be shorter without doubt.

If you pick the shaft weight below 50g, it will make the shaft break in fast. That's why I do not use the shaft weight below 50g for golfers with my recommendation. Unless it's female golfers or the young golfers age under 12. Of course, light weight shaft and soft flex will fit most of golfer and you can easily to get the longer distance without problem but the consistency and durability are the things you need to care.

With auto flex, most of its shaft weights are below 50g, it's not good for durability. It won't fit the American golfers as American golfers are bigger and stronger than Asian golfers in general. Asian golfers are preferring to use lighter weight shaft and soft feel to gain the good feedback. I think auto flex is good for them on usage and feel.

I have many ways to increase your total distance on tee shots. Without changing people's swing profile or body condition, by customizing the personal golf clubs, based on golf club head, and shaft's profile to fit golfer's swing. The result can be better than your current driver with using more than 5 years. There are tons of golf shafts in the market that you can consider and if you have good fitter to help you build the right driver, distance can easily be gained without problem.
