球桿的水深是在於，產品的特性是無法用文字或影片說明。因為沒有實際感受或有經驗的技師來提點，一般球友是無法找到你要的桿子，也無法得到你期待的結果。廠商的產品說明多半會避重就輕和一筆帶過，別說球友很難瞭解，我自己也只能估個大概。當然我自己的好處是有很多產品使用經驗，和對幾個品牌產品都有深入的使用、配置經驗，所以可以理解廠商的技術特性。

相對於一般球友，如果沒有持續對一個品牌下的產品有一定研究和使用經驗，你是很難知道產品特性和差異性。就算是專業的技師，也無法對所有品牌的產品有完整的了解。因為技師的時間有限，要做桿子、也要休息，產品研究都需要實際裝起來用才知道，沒有使用一段時間是很難瞭解球桿裡面有沒有外掛可以用。所以懂球桿或瞭解球桿特性不是靠打個一兩次就可以，不同時間和地點去使用，感覺差異性才能全面瞭解。

我很不喜歡去回答朋友問的哪個產品比較好？或要我推薦適合的桿子/桿身？我通常會簡單回答一款我覺得不錯的產品，但如果朋友持續問細節，比如哪個品牌、角度、硬度、長度等，我就會直接說；這要花時間去瞭解你目前身體和動作狀況，同時目前球桿的問題，才能給明確資料。而這就需要投入時間來進行訂製諮詢。

我很清楚他們要一個答案，但這就是做這行的價值。因為水很深，我不知道溺斃幾十回了。這才有現在的趨吉避凶感應器。再加上配置各種不同的人，對產品和人的組合經驗是點滴在心頭、如數家珍。我建議有時間的球友，自己可以去試不同產品，然後逐步建立自己對產品的經驗值。這樣才能摸索自己的風格與需求。

沒時間、要結果，找師傅是最好的方法。當你年紀大了，你會知道時間對你來說越來越重要。網路很發達但資訊太多、太雜，反而讓人無所適從。如果花點錢可以買到我要的東西，這是最好的買賣。現在行業太多、知識經濟就在於你有沒有可以讓別人一步到位的能力，省去時間和金錢，尤其是水很深的領域。諮詢是未來網路服務的核心！

Golf club is so complicated because it's not easy to give you a simple answer. If you do not play various golf clubs with different brands, it's hard to tell you what's the true feel of specific club. Please do not tell me the product description from equipment brand website can give you the answer. They only give you the brief information but not the details.

That's why I always suggest the average golfers to build your golf club experience. Without trying various golf clubs, you are hard to know what golf club is good for you and fit your preference. Even clubfitter is hard to tell you which golf club is good fit on your expectation and feel. Moreover, you can't say I know the specific model or brand by using couple of times.

If you do not play the golf club for certain period of time, you are unable to know the truth of the golf club. Without the time investing, you can't tell the real golf club's feel and performance. I hate to answer golfers' question on which golf club is the best or fit my swing? What do you recommend on the golf club?

It sounds simple question but it's hard to give you an easy answer since it's personal gear, there is no 100% fit on you from existing golf clubs. In order to provide you the right information and response, I will ask more questions such as what golf club are you currently playing? Is there the problems from using your current clubs? It's the whole clubfitting process to go through.

If you would like to get the quick answer, finding the right clubfitter who will help you get the shortcut. When you get older, time becomes the most valuable thing. If I can get the right golf club through the professional technician, I have no hesitate to jump in. The 21st century is information explosion, to get the right thing for you takes time, money and efforts. It's never an easy job!
