Frisco Lake Golf Course球場!～上集

今天和朋友約打Frisco Lake球場，開車到球場大約30分。球場在湖邊，所以風景超棒，但也表示會有不少水池和利用地利的球道設計。可以期待今天應該會很好玩，也可以享受風景。同時今天風也很給力，雖然100度高溫，有風相伴就覺得踏風而行的舒服。打完球後沒有上次打Cayote ridge球場那樣頭痛，被曬到不舒服狀況。

我們訂1:30開球，到賣店拿球車鑰匙就開打。我在美國打球都不會去練習場練球熱身，因為身體已經習慣馬上進入戰鬥狀態。基本上我會一週打2場，這樣身體的狀態都可以維持在最佳。隨時都可以轉到下場模式。球場要求從10洞in course開始打。它的後9的設計比較機車，超多的樹林，而且球場把球道邊的草都留起來，至少超過一個球的高度，所以別以為沒有進樹林就OK，你會找不到球。

我們今天都很認真看球，只有掉2個球。也在草叢裡找到一些球來。因為非球道上，草長，走著走著就會看到球。有時候走過才會看到球露出來。同時後9的有一些狗腿洞設計，當然也可以打。我們今天打金梯，18洞總長是超過6800碼。非常好玩。都是一木看球，都沒有什麼失誤，最多在長草。都還找得到球。

當然有些長的4桿洞就當5桿洞來打。今天下沙一次，在進攻果嶺落在果嶺前的沙坑。不過現在經驗多了就一切出來。問題不大！它的沙坑是細沙，所以要用力打才容易出來。不要怕，就是要全力往沙打就OK了。它的沙坑設計真的超大。球道上也是，果嶺周圍的也是。很容易下沙！也是這個球場的特色。球道不算寬，如果偏一下就容易到樹林或出界。

現在打球比較會控制身體力量和動作協調性，所以今天都沒有大失誤。第二桿也都OK，準度也帶了，最多是打短。後面如果要超過160碼，就直接5木拿出來轟。因為這家的果嶺設計超大。要上果嶺不難，但要推近就有難度。所以今天3推也不少。這也是這個球場特色的地方。開球有點難，球道長，不時有一些障礙會影響你進攻。打上果嶺也不用爽太早，因為落點不對，3推也是家常便飯。

果嶺的速度在9～10左右。也有鋪沙狀況，但還是可以推。不過不少洞的球道都在種新草，球車都不能開進去。也花點時間走來走去。我還真覺得那些老外senior這種天來回走不會出事嗎？有些長草真的無法直接進攻。都會被草給絆住，要多花一桿再送上果嶺。算是給你沒有上球道的處罰。至少我們這類業餘球友的手臂沒有大腿粗的肌肉，是無法削草像切菜一樣簡單。中球的力道都會打對折。

This time I play Frisco Lake golf course with my friend, It's about 30 minutes driving from my place and there is big lake with great view for playing. I can expect there are some waters surround the fairway or greens. Today is hot with over 100 degree with windy, Without the wind, it's tough to play during such temperature.

We play gold tee with total over 6800 yards, it will be fun to play with such distance and also many bunkers and waters. We tee shot at 13:30 from 10th hole. It's tough and challenged on back 9 since there are so many trees protecting the fairway and green. If you do not have the accuracy and distance, you can't make it on the right spot or directly out of bound.

The rough is tough since the grass is kind of long with over one golf ball, that's why if you can't make it on the fairway, you barely find your ball on the rough. That's why we watch each other for the ball flying and landing spot in order to get the ball. Some of the par 4s are long and you need to play it like par 5 to make the green on lay up. Or with the dog leg design, you have to lay up for right strategy.

There are many bunkers around the greens or the fairway, the bunkers are big with designs. I get in the bunker once but not hard to get out. The sands are thin so you need to strike hardly in order to push the ball out of bunker. I would say this golf course is very challenge with good design to make you have the mistakes.

It's able to overcome for all the challenges, that's the good design. If you mis the shot, you get damaged for that. There are many fairways with maintenance that the golf cart can not get it and we need to walk through it. That's tough with such temperature. The green is big, it's easy to make 3 putts to the end. That's why I always grab the longer distance golf club to make my shot. It's easier to land on the green without short.
