球桿重量是一個重要的因素,一般人對這塊的瞭解幾乎是零。不會吧!小學生都知道東西越重,對於手臂拿起來就越費力,更別說是要揮舞。沒錯。球桿也是如此。但多數的球桿都設定重量比較輕。桿身和握把的重量都很輕。這樣用起來對使用者可以不費吹灰之力。
這個狀況只對一半!為什麼?因為忽略掉桿子長度。就算桿子總重輕但長度長,揮重高,對使用者來說就是一個負擔。更重要,“長”會導致控制球桿更加困難。你想差1“的長度會怎樣?如果桿頭重量不變下,45”和46“的使用下,46”的桿子需要用到吃奶的力氣來操作。這樣的狀況是我遇到的通病!
所有的球友來找我的時候,一確認目前球桿長度都超過45.5“。當然過重和過輕都不行,過輕會讓你無法掌握桿頭移動的掌握能力。就算可以讓你提升揮桿速度,但無法有好的擊球精準度也是白搭。回歸現實面,目前多數木桿類的長度和重量,對於業餘球友來說都是有挑戰和困難。
所以你要做的只有2個選項:改桿子或提升自己的身體能力!改桿子已經討論很多,而這篇文章會著重在個人能力這塊。也就是說,你要做的事,就是去提升自己的上半身的強度。這不是你多練球就會比較好。練多、對手臂是有提升,但有限。
所以在現代化揮桿訓練上,有很大一塊比例是強化你的身體。做健身,提升你的身體肌肉強度和爆發力。這些活也確實對練動作有很大的提升。我自己就這樣的過來,對於鍛鍊和動作的建立是相輔相成。當你手臂力量、肩膀和背部肌肉提升後,在上下桿的過程就會輕鬆自如。

Golf club weight is always an important factor for golfers. People know it since the heavier object you carry, your arms will feel stress and hard to handle. That's why most of golf clubs particularly the woods are lighter weight on shaft and grips but the length is long. It's unable to make your body handle the golf club easily and relax.
People do not look at the length on the golf club. Even though the total weight is light, the length is long, it will make your arms feel hard and heavy. You can image when you swing the same golf club head weight but one is 45" and the other one is 46", you will feel 46" one is harder to handle and swing.
It's common case and situation for most of golfers. When I check with golfers' woods and driver, it's always over length for their play. The right golf weight and swing weight are the keys for you to make the swing smooth and accurate. It's the weight of the golf club is light, you are unable to strike accurately and solidly.
Unfortunately, the retail's golf clubs are hard for golfers to handle. For me I would suggest golfers to improve two parts in order to overcome this difficulty and challenge. One is to fine tune your golf club that makes shorter length and adjust the weight distribution of the golf club. The other is to do the work out for improving your body strongness.
It's not just do a lot of swing practices, you need to work on your body improvement that build more muscles on your upper body such as shoulder, arms and chest in order to handle the golf club's weight. It's very helpful as I have been doing the personal work out and training to improve the body strongness.
