中集開始。

Olyss和Trono都是LAGP接手Matrix後,由前Aldila桿身設計總監開發設計的產品。在去年的PGA有和新的老闆和設計總監都聊過。所以對新產品是有不錯的期待。而這些新產品都有一個特性就是桿身強度高。讓球可以飛得更猛、更快、穩定性更好等好處。所以我個人是很期待用這款Olyss,因為特性會更適合亞洲人的使用。

而桿身的彈道和倒旋都是低中的設計。trono是低,而這款會是中,而高就是我這次訂的紅管。高不是高倒旋,這年頭沒有高倒旋的桿身,因為材質提升和技術都拉高不少,桿身可以做的更猛,卻有中或低倒旋的效能。紅管是高彈道設計。這也是我訂這三隻不同桿身來用的原因。當然配置不同桿頭特性來比較和瞭解。

不過原廠做的規格是45.75“不會是好用的長度和重量。對我們這種兩光身材要打好就真的是中樂透的比例。所以配置上也是以好使、好控為優先。所以完全會和原廠不同,而且一點都不一樣。那是給虎背熊腰打的規格,我是凡人就打短小精幹的規格。

這桿子打起來完全不費力,可以感受到桿頭紮實的擊球回饋。它的回饋是整個桿面的撞擊感。非常有感。已經比以前Callaway桿頭那種鐵板一塊要好很多。打在非甜蜜點的位置會稍微硬一點,都是可以接受的感覺。不會重手或回饋硬的狀況。這也是我喜歡Mavrik的地方。如果你用的球款是比較軟的硬度,還可以有擊球擠壓的回饋。

和SiM比較,SIM的桿面會比較彈,這是不一樣。和Titleist TSi3比較是TSi3差不多整桿面的震動效果。會打起來越來越熱血。當然和日本的桿頭比較,一些日系桿面都是用加工後的DAT55,SP700這類是會弱一點。因為這些桿面都會比較彈也舒服一點。但以市售的東西,可以這樣已經是可遇不可求。

當然這桿頭打出來的反彈角是相對低,Launch monitor上看,在13~15度,還好桿身有幫忙。但球速這塊,桿頭真的夠猛。和子彈一樣的快。比新的Epic Max LS要稍微慢一點。但這樣的以易打和好控為訴求桿子,已經非常暴走的效能。整個桿頭確實不錯。難怪國外測試的結果Callaway的距離都在前三名。確實有其實力。

所以配置這類桿頭你選的桿身就很重要。因為桿頭的擊球起發角不高,如果你配的桿身的launch angle不高,加上你的速度也不快,就肯定會打成低彈道也飛不遠。而要調整球的飛行彈道就需要桿身的加持。這也是我選Olyss的原因。

而桿身來說,桿身的使用異常簡單。簡單就是用起來很容易把桿子拉下來。不會像打一般球桿在操控上相對有難度。或是說要用更多的力量去控制球桿到你要的動作。這桿子真的非常容易。桿身下桿完全沒有感覺,要下來就下來。非常聽話。手道擊球點,桿頭就跟上。不需要去思考或調整節奏來配合球桿。

Olyss and Trono are the products developed by new shaft development director. These are the products taken over from Matrix developed and made by new team. That's why I am eager to try out and know the new LAGP shafts performance. I personally prefer to try Olyss as the spec and materials are friendly for smooth swingers.

The shaft is mid launch and spin rate. Trono is low spin and low launch, the Axs red is high launch and mid spin. Nowadays, there is no high spin rate shaft as the new strong materials embedded with high energy transformation and lower impact spin. I have three shafts to aim various trajectories with three driver heads.

The key for this driver is set, easy to play, better control. That's why I make 44" length and only 308g for the total weight, it's easier for most of average golfers with low swing weight but has certain weight to handle golfer's swing power with consistency. The head impact is solid with the whole face feedback. You can feel the head impact vibration.

It's better than Epic flash and previous driver hitting feedback. If you play soft compression golf ball, you will feel soft feedback on impact. Of course, the off sweet spots are harsh feel but it's better than other drivers. Comparing with SIM driver feedback, SIM face is not bouncing feel instead of the whole face impact.

The launch angle for this driver head is about 13 to 15, it's low launch angle, therefore, it needs to fit with mid or high launch angle shaft to make the trajectory more reasonable for gaining the best distance with my swing speed. If you swing speed is over 100mph, you can play sub zero with low launch shaft, but my driver swing speed is about 95mph, I need more high launch shaft to help me gain the distance.
