下集開始。

所以當我測試Titleist球的時候就是把它做為標竿。其他球如果可以達到它的球款水準，就可以具備高級球的地位或同級產品的佼佼者。我是最不吃品牌的人，什麼好用，穩定我就用。沒有品牌包袱和迷思。這樣對好產品和好製造商才能給肯定。但Titleist的產品你就是要佩服。同樣在球桿上也是一樣。Titleist的營收一直都是各品牌的第一，今年被Callaway超過但也超過不多。

它們的木桿類是完全沒有用複合式材質，但效果和穩定性也沒有打折。而其實還有一個原因，就是純金屬的材質比較可以抗熱和溫度變化影響。不是說複合式材質的桿頭就強度不足。而是當溫度高，其實對材質的影響和變化是真的有差別。尤其在高溫30多度下的擊球，同時你把球桿放在後車廂裡的溫度超過100度下會有什麼變化？

我只有從實際下場去驗證，因為用器材測試的數據通常沒問題。因為這些測試都在產品製作和檢驗時就確認無誤。但實際用了就是有差別。我用碳纖維材質的桿子，就是容易拉，左曲，通常出現這樣狀況都是軟球。問題球不是軟，那為什麼就是用起來就是左拉。一旦我用全鈦合金的桿子後就一點問題都沒有。

回到球的主題上，當細節上有差異，就是各家產品和技術的高低落差了。而這都和公司文化有關和領導者的態度要求相連。 因為產品經過比較後才知道差異。所以我會建議大家有空和有機會就多去試不同球桿和球款。這樣才能知道你現在用的東西是否有提升和改善空間？也藉由比較才知道產品差異和下次可以選擇什麼產品。

其實打球打久的人都很清楚自己的距離實力和動作狀況。如果當你打出來的結果和平時差不多就說明這是你正常的發揮。但如果你覺得打的很不錯但球卻不是飛的特好，觀察幾個洞和打的結果看看，是否都是比預期要短，如果還是一樣，那就說明你的產品是比較差。而不是你個人動作走驚了！

還是那句老話，相信自己的直覺。多觀察就可以知道是自己問題，還是工具問題？無數的細節表現，導致一個結果的呈現。你或許覺得和其他產品的差異不大，但如果都是一直有這些差異，為什麼好的，穩的就是那一個？這就是它們下的苦工而產生的結果差異。這不是理所當然，而是對事物的要求態度和堅持！

When are you testing the products, you need to have a standard to see the differences and my standard is the Titleist golf balls in each of segment. I am not a brand oriented person and if there is anything good, I will certainly buy and try it. This way we are able to let manufacturer know your product is good to use then produce more and better. That's why Titleist is the number on golf club and golf ball but this year, it's been passed by Callaway.

Titleist woods are using metal instead of carbon composite. I think they know metal is more stable and consistent in high temperature. We need to know most of golfers load the golf clubs with the golf bag in the car and during the summer, the temperature of car is over 100 degree. It's not good for golf club and materials.

When I don't use well on my composite drivers then I play my titanium drivers and fairway woods. It's working all the time without problem. That's why I don't trust composite material on the woods. Since you can always compare various products and materials in order to know which one is better fit your play and requirements.

When you play golf over 10 years, you gain the experience and knowledge on all the things. If you make a bad shot that you are able to realize its your personal swing issue or golf club problem? Since you know yourself much better than others, even though it's a bad shot you still can find out the problems.

I must say you need to trust your personal feeling when you play the golf clubs or golf balls. When you try the new product, you will need to trust your own instinct and evaluate the results with your standard. It doesn't need to be the same as others but you know which part may cause this problem. The good and high quality products are always consistency because they insist the details and requirements.
