這個問題一直在我心裡,從我剛打球到現在都不斷的問自己。我打球初期都覺得,自己就是快節奏和還用力打球的人。覺得沒有必要學別人那種慢節奏或順順打球的模式。因為全力打很爽,也可以發洩。一直以來就是以快節奏的打法。但從去年開始,我自己也調整動作節奏。先從上桿把節奏放慢,下桿在穩穩的順勢而為。結果卻異常的好,距離也沒有差太多但穩定性和吃球的精準度卻滿格。
為什麼要放慢節奏打?打的好好的,為什麼要改變節奏?最大的原因就是提升擊球的精準度!要讓自己可以得到最好的擊球距離,如果沒有打到甜蜜點,距離效果肯定不好。這也是我這個球棍,對所有動作細節不斷去調整和改善的任務。所以要提升這塊的精準度,我先從節奏下手。得到的結果是精準度真的好得沒話說。這就是我要的!
鐵桿也是一樣!我其實是先從短切把節奏放慢,因為我可以更容易控制桿頭和吃球的點,對於結果更容易掌握。一旦吃球變精準後,對方向和距離就不需要擔心。所以我才把放慢節奏延伸到鐵桿,最後到木桿。就是因為實際效果不錯,所以我才體會到用巧不用力的精髓。身體本身的強度不會比年輕時差,固定的鍛鍊下,在力量上的質感,也不會因為節奏放慢就變差。
逐漸可以理解到以前一些打不錯的朋友,他們的節奏就是順順的上下桿,打的距離和準度都要比我好太多。很多時候,你沒有到那個問題和階段,你是無法理解問題核心所在。這也是高爾夫是一個人生不斷去體驗,和調整改善的運動。以前對準度和擊球質量沒有需要去理會,因為要把球打實和動作需要穩定正確就花掉不少時間。
不過要把節奏從快到慢是有一些要求,不是你想慢就可以慢得了。首要的前提是你的身體肌肉強度要夠。因為當你放慢速度時,你需要利用更多身體肌肉的力量來支撐球桿的上下桿的運行。你或許會覺得簡單,但實際運作就不容易。因為當你會越打越快,就代表你的身體肌肉,尤其是上半身肌肉強度不足,讓你的身體需要利用快節奏去減少手臂和肩膀的受力。
這點尤其在越長的球桿,越容易感覺吃力或無形的節奏加快。因為桿子越長,它給予身體的受力和運行就相對越大。這也是我以前就有嘗試過把節奏放慢,但身體就是不由自主的會越打越快。所以我開始鍛鍊身體核心肌群,和提升身體的韌性,讓手臂、上半身可以更容易去操作球桿。這樣要控制上下桿的節奏就如水到渠成。舉一個簡單例子,把你的跑步速度放慢100%,你就會簡單對腳的負擔和力量要求就變更大。

This question has been my mind for long time since I started golf at beginning. Swing tempo is key for a golfer to strike the ball solidly and generate the power. With my early golf stage, I love fast tempo to enjoy the power driving and striking feel. I don't think I need to slow down with my tempo in order to get better striking accuracy.
But in recent year, I would like to get advanced with striking accuracy and consistency, Slow down my swing tempo becomes a good solution for me to improve the driving accuracy. I have been enjoying the benefits of smooth swing tempo since this year, I barely miss the target and my balls are landed on the acceptable area even though I don't strike accurately on the club face.
It sounds easy to adjust your swing tempo from fast to smooth, in face, it's hard since your upper body and core muscles must be good to maintain and operate the golf club during the up and down swing. If you do not train your arms, shoulders and core muscles, you can't slow down your swing tempo.
Let's think if you slow down your running speed 50%, you will feel you need to use more power and energy on your feet to run. The same concept on golf swing. When you slow down the swing tempo, all the muscles have to do more loading and unloading works. That's why body work out is fundamental when you change your swing tempo.
The reason why I change my swing tempo is to improve my short game. In order to chip to the green, I slow down my swing to control better on the club head movement, it gives me better striking accuracy and result. Then I implement it to my irons and woods. I truly realize that how to manage your power on the right speed and point.
