Dechambeau對奧古斯塔球場的標準桿是67桿/August par is 67 for DeChambeau！

今年的話題一直都在Dechambeau上。而在獲得PGA錦標賽後，11月的名人賽他一直是媒體討論的重點人物。而這次的名人賽大家都在討論他的距離和打法。而在這週的名人賽，他週一打過後，他覺得他對這個球場的標準桿是67桿。因為就算是5桿洞，對他來說是可以2桿就打上果嶺！

什麼！說這樣的話對多數的選手不就是幹話。因為他連長的5桿洞都是2桿上，球道上的問題或障礙都可以飛過。所以他只要不要打得太歪，不要出界，那第二桿都是短桿來打。他在奧古斯塔球場的第二桿都是在7鐵以下。多數是wedge打果嶺。傲視群雄的打法和距離！已經是一個不公平的起點了。

那大家對於他是否會拿出48寸的木桿來用？這次應該不會。因為他測試了，發現48寸的木桿打出來的倒旋量太大。讓他會減少30～40碼的距離。所以目前應該LAGP桿身廠還在重新做他的48寸木桿桿身。我估計照他的打算，如果用上48寸的木桿，距離應該會在380～400碼範圍。

而對這樣的大賽來說，他不會打沒有把握的戰。48寸的長度對於大比賽如果沒有一定程度的熟練和經驗。拿出來用就是找死。而我想其他選手應該也是以看熱鬧的心態來看他用48寸木桿的表現。如果他可以，那其他人就是群起效尤。至少米克森就在這次的名人賽會拿出他的47.5寸木桿來用。

67桿這種桿數對多數的職業球員來說都是挑戰。而他敢說也是有一定的信心和能力。因為他已經在PGA錦標賽裡，驗證他的打法和距離，確實在美巡賽裡就是吃得開。你沒有距離和準度是癡人說夢。尤其目前的球場難度都放在拉長距離上，而對有距離的他來說就是小菜一碟。還是拉板凳來看這週的名人賽吧！

DeChambeau has been the discussion on the top of the board on 2020. Recently he has been trying new 48" driver to gain monster distance for tee shot and this week he is aiming the Master after he won the PGA champion. He said Augusta par is 67 for him since he can simply make it 2 on for all par 5.

67 for the par in Augusta! If he can make it par for 3 or 4 days on Master, he can easily grab the champion without doubt. Honestly, the golf is not only on the distance, you have to put it well in order to keep your score low. He may be able to get on the green with 2 shots, but the putting is critical for him to win this battle.

Another question is will he play 48" driver on August? I do not think so since he was trying new 48" driver with too much spin rate that caused him 30 to 40 yards lost. I believe LAGP is working his new 48" shaft now and perhaps next year we can see his play on 48" driver. However, if his 48" driver is going to work, we can expect his tee shot to 380 to 400 yards without doubt.

We can stil see Mickelson to play 47.5" driver on Augusta. He knows if he can make the tee shot over 320 yards, most of bunkers can be avoided to the safe zone even it's landed on rough. We all have seen how DeChambeau has been playing on PGA Champion, his second shot is most likely for short irons and wedges even though the ball is on rough.

We can not deny the distance advantage for DeChambeau and that's why other PGA pros are coming after him to get more distance. The advantage of DeChambeau is not only the distance but his accuracy. At least his ball is not out of bond. 67 for the par in Augusta is magic number and we can see how he will play to make this number work on him!
